I was battling with a horrible back problem for several months. I didn’t feel like I was really getting anywhere with my doctor so my friend recommended me to Dr. Bhambore. I called and got an appointment for as soon as I could get in. The location is nice and clean and the staff is friendly but Dr. Bhambore is everything. She is such a wonderful doctor. She not only discussed the issue with my back with me but she let me talk about any other medical issue I was having(not like some doctors who cut you off because they only deal with one concern per copay). She gave me referrals and phone numbers to other doctors I needed to go to, which included a spine specialist. She really helped me to move forward from a condition that was debilitating me. She has even called me personally to assist me with filling out papers I needed for work for my condition. She is an amazing doctor and I would hate to have to see anyone other than her.

I saw Dr. Bhambore several times during 2011 and received excellent care and referrals. I found her honest, forthcoming, clear and helpful. She helped me get specialist referrals and let me know where the long waiting times would be at specialists. I just had to move out of Sacramento, but if I ever move back, I will seek our Dr. Bhambore to be my physician.

Dr. Neelam Bhambore — Worst experience ever with a new doctor. First of all she didn’t do the exam that I was there for and blamed it on her scheduling staff and acknowledged that my appointment with her that day without the exam would most likely not be covered by insurance and she didn’t do anything to fix the situation, but apologize insincerely. She was incredibly impersonal, didn’t hardly ask me any medical history questions, didn’t ask me if I had any questions and almost left without letting me ask my questions, then she answered my questions with the patient room door wide open, then gave me some papers and didn’t explain them, then said bye and didn’t even point me to the exit. I felt like a total inconvenience to her. Most upsetting is that I went there to take care of an exam for reasons that are important to me. When I told her the reason, she didn’t seem to care and didn’t give me any direction… I had to ask the questions and her attitude just left me feeling like crap.

When I first started receiving benefits with my job, my health insurance company first assigned me to a doctor that really wasn’t in my neighborhood. With my busy schedule, seeing a doctor kind of slipped from my priorities(I know, I know, BADVAL!!). After browsing through the N Magazine, I read about the UC Davis Medical Group opening up nearby, and so I requested a switch to Dr. Neelam Bhambore and I had my first physical check-up yesterday afternoon. The location is SO much more convenient. It’s right across the street from American River College, and there’s plenty of space in the parking lot next to the building. The facility itself is clean and updated. The reception room seems a little narrow, but there are really beautiful photographs that line the walls. I didn’t encounter a lot of patients in the waiting room, so it was quiet and peaceful. The staff that I met were friendly, and Dr. Bhambore was also nice, so that put me at ease because I can get anxious when I go to the doctor’s office, even for a routine checkup. I had my vitals checked, got a prescription for a nasal spray to help with my allergies, and made two more appointments for next month for blood tests and things that I’ve put off for far too long… My first experience was relatively positive! We’ll see how I feel later on after my appointments next month.
