Thank you for blocking in my van with your truck and spraying sawdust all over it. No one came into our business to ask us to move, the only way I found out was when I went to go to lunch with my co workers and saw that I was blocked in and my van was covered in garbage.

We had huge Redwoods right next to our condo, we had been dreading their removal because of the close proximity to our home (less than 6 ft.). These guys got the job done in a couple of days. Each day they cleared everything out and used a blower to finish. Very impressive work, we will be using them again. Professional, courteous and quality work. THANK YOU!

Don’t be fooled like I was. If you’re misfortunate enough to use their company,
then do the math and you’ll see what I mean. Very dishonest way of doing business

If your insurance company is paying the bill, then it won’t matter to your
pocketbook, but we shouldn’t reward these types of practices.

Mike provides the VERY BEST in customer service! We had questions about the proper care of trees on our new property. Mike came with his positive attitude, enthusiastic demeanor and expertise. He is a top-​notch professional. He spent about 45 minutes with us and travel time took him an extra 40 minutes each way. He didn’t look for a way to «make money». Instead he told us how he would do things which didn’t involve hiring his services at this time. Wow! Here is an individual who does the right things for the right reasons. We can’t rave enough good things about him! When the time does come to do some work on our trees, he’ll be the professional we call.

Our palm tree hadn’t been trimmed in years and was looking super shaggy. I called Mike and he asked me a few questions about the tree and gave me a quote over the phone. I then had another company come out to the house to give me a quote and was very surprised when it was THREE TIMES what Mike had quoted. I was worried that he’d misunderstood my answers to his questions and grossly underbid, so I had him come out to the house to get a solid quote. He confirmed that they could get it done for the original amount he’d quoted over the phone, so I said «Sign me up!»
His crew came out a week or so later. They were right on time and very professional. They helped me move a couple of decorative accents that I’d forgotten about or not realised were potentially at risk of being hit by falling branches. The only wrinkle was that when they were ready to start cutting, the chainsaw chose to break down, so they were delayed about an hour while a supervisor came out to repair it. But aside from that they were efficient and hard working the whole time they were here. They did a beautiful job pruning the tree and cleaning up the trunk where it was shaggy from the old fronds. They chipped up all the trimmings and hauled them away and left the yard beautifully clean and neat.
I highly recommend Valley Crest and Mike if you need any work done. We’ll be calling them in the future for all of our tree care needs.

I had a tree fall during the recent storms which prompted me to assess some other trees at my house. The tree hit my neighbor’s house and I needed a professional to remove it. I had 3 certified arborists/​tree companies come out to discuss the work and give me an estimate. Mike was great and we walked around the property discussing options. While Mike’s bid wasn’t the lowest, it was very fair and I felt that he put alot more thought into the job description, which also included alot of extra trimming/​grinding than the other companies’ bids.
Dan, the crew chief, came out on a Saturday (my request so that I could be there to review the work) with 2 full crews of great guys and completed most of the work that day. I would definintely recommend these guys to anyone with medium to large jobs.
