Winger Robt R Whisler Land Co Property Management

This is not my first review of this company nor will it be the last. I seriously wonder what it takes to get a job at Whistler. As far as i can see you just need a crappy self-​entitled attitude, have the great skill of being able to dribble words down your nose at people, know how to keep people waiting and not care, know how to dodge calls, be a graduate of Fake Smile University, and pretty much have an I dont give a damn personality. How do these people survive outside the protection of those 4 walls? One positive is I heard through the grapevine that «Marlena» was fired (finally). She has been a sore spot at my complex the entire time I’ve lived here. Rude to say the least. Always talking down her nose to anyone living here. She deserved what she got and more.
The county closed our pool 15 days ago for repairs Whistler knew to do in 2014(I have copies of county reports for 2014 and 2015) but of course didnt because that would have been using common courtesy on their part and that is just an impossibility for anyone in that office. A «Christine» or «Christina”(not sure if it was just the receptionist… i use that term loosely) called me back yesterday when a «Robert» was suppose to and chewed me a new one when I called her on the fact that the gate repair had been done and that we were simply waiting for them to call the county to make the appointment to have it signed off and opened again. Arg!!! These people!!! But of course that was on a Friday and why should they lift a finger to assist anyone in anything ever!!! It’s Sacramento! It’s hot!!! We pay a premium in our rent to have a pool!!! The owners spent so much money resurfacing the pool last year we would love to use it!!!
If it’s not the gate but one of the other repairs from 2014 then why not just tell the tenants who are interested in getting their pool opened. Just say oh Mrs. So and so… the gate is repaired but we have other issues to deal with and we are still trying to get the pool opened. We are so sorry for the length of time it’s taken us to address this and thank you for your patience. They have never had that sort of pleasant or helpful attitude towards anyone I’ve talked to about this. The sweet lady at the county who has been trying with me to contact Whistler and get them to sign it off was treated poorly by a «Robert» when she did finally get someone on the phone. Can tell you right now that who ever that was should be slapped really hard because the worker is the sweetest woman and would never have deserved being talked to the way those people do!!! I was embarrassed and I didnt even do anything to her. This «Robert» should be ashamed of himself with a capital A!!! Is it the fact the inspection costs the company that keeps them from getting it done? Why do they drag their feet? The inspection was done in Aug of 2014 and its now a complete year later and still it’s not fixed! Im shocked any of them still haves toes left to any of their shoes.

I am a landlord who listed two properties with Robert Winger and his company, Whisler Property Management. Upon initial association with Whisler, I may have given three stars. But after enduring a number of years of their mismanagement… they don’t warrant a single star.
I don’t know where to begin, other than: If you are a landlord considering Whisler Property Management to manage your rentals… run, don’t walk… RUN.
The attitude of staff is pure arrogance — aside from the accounting dept, most of the staff is under-​educated, righteous and argumentative (particularly Kristy Oneto a *itch with a Capital B). I was a client, but always felt like ‘they’re doing me a favor’ by marginally managing my properties.
I have been overcharged for services that were not required or ordered. They wanted to charge for an unnecessary annual ‘roof inspection’ — and have withheld money for services that they allegedly performed after I terminated my contract with them.
Mr Winger is personally offended when a client leaves him — to the point that he berates the competition. He will dispense his mobile phone number– and claim to be ‘available 24/​7′ and say that he’s personally available — but when a client or tenant calls — he will never return the call.
I could go on… but you get the picture. I urge you to avoid this company as a client and as a tenant.
