Simply the best, I came here before and will always come here in the future. Prices are reasonable and quality work.

My Samsung G3 not under warranty anymore, and the AT&T device support center, advised I go see this guy. Glad I did… yes, he’s snarky, and ornery, but he knows his stuff, and for the price I paid for him to fix the port for earbuds (so I can listen to music from my phone) $ 35, compared to the price of a new phone when I really don’t want to buy one and not time for an upgrade, was worth it.
It’s a corner shop, not much of a waiting room… very basic.

I have been here twice and both times have been very pleased.
The first time was a work-​related thing. We needed data recovered from an old, broken phone. The owner got the phone to power up, and gave us all of the data on a USB drive for a very reasonable price, with a quick turnaround.
Next, I needed something fixed on my personal phone. He took the phone apart and fixed it while I waited and only charged me $ 5. Did a great job.
I see that the negative reviews seem to be about the personality of the owner, rather than his skills. He seems to be busy, serious, and not necessarily the most chatty guy around. But, I’d rather have a serious guy that knows his stuff messing with my phone than some slick salesman who doesn’t have the technical knowledge or talent the Wireless World guy obviously has.
I’d recommend this place.

Excellent service and price. The owner is not ride, just a dry sense of humor. I’m sure he’s trying to make day go by with some humor. I found him funny and nice.

Highly recommend this place for cell phone repair. I have shopped around and this place has very fair prices and great service. Right downtown, plenty of street parking all around.
Some reviews mention the owner being rude. Not my experience at all. He’s honest and direct. This is a very small business, not a corporation. I don’t mind a fella with a personality, especially when his pricing is so fair. If you want a squad of smiling service reps in matching polos and khakis, and you want to pay twice the price, head to the mall.
If you spend any time there you’ll see he has lots of regular customers (they are also a MetroPCS dealer I guess). The owner seems to have great rapport and strong relationships with lots of regulars.
Anyway, I was very happy! Hopefully I won’t break any more phones, but if I do, I’ll be back in a heartbeat.

I had a issue with my phone and a friend referred me to this place. Said it was written up in the Sac Bee too. I didn’t want to buy a new phone so, what the hell. My first impression of the store upon walking in was that laid back, with a ting of ghetto. It is a metro pcs authorized dealer store after all. What I liked was there were lots of creative and personal touches. Including travel photos, comfy couches and art all over the walls. It was a bit dirty and dingy. Kinda in the way a taco truck can feel. You know, you walk up a little conflicted and feeling like your probably being daring and loving it the whole time. It’s obvious that the owners want to keep a local, funky feel. I liked that. Felt very downtown. Walking in, there were probably three people ahead of me. There was a wait. Nothing different than the corporate store. I am a BIG stickler for customer service, so I watched the dude behind the counter operate with the customers. I wanted to see what I was in store for in this local little corner shop. The dude was obviously the owner considering the liberties he was taking. He had personality. Definitely not corporate … not in Kansas Toto. I must admit, the contrast to what I was expecting made me completely delighted. He was brass on one hand, but really seemed to care about helping the customers on the other hand. Refreshing.
After the last customer left and paid him $ 60 for her major emergency fix that would have cost her $ 400 to replace her phone and her thanking him 10 times, he said «I probably should have charged her more, but she was in a jam.» And, with a hint of sarcasm said «Now she can get to textin» Funny! It was my turn. Dude checked out my phone. I was having problems with the touch screen on my Samsung. He quoted me $ 40 and said I get a discount for being patient. He fixed it while I waited and we had a brief philosophical convo about travel. That was real cool experience. Out of the ordinary and real. Definitely, coming back here.

After reading the story in the Bee, I took my iPhone in to see if he could fix the jammed home button. Guy behind the counter was one of the rudest people I have ever met. Gave me a lecture about how to take care of my phone. Told me how he might be willing to try to fix it but it was going to be really difficult and would cost $ 120. I declined.
Next day I took my phone to Cell R Us at 7660 Stockton Blvd. Nice guy behind the counter. Took the phone to his desk took two minutes to fix and changed me $ 0.

After trying to fix my own broken screen on my galaxy S3 the touch screen didn’t work. Right ad was about to give up and buy a new phone my boss said he saw wireless world in the sac bee that very morning. I took it to them in a plastic
baggie. He told me I wasted the phone and was pretty screwed. But he still was able to hook me up with a repair at a reasonable price. Take all of your phone repairs here. They are honest and straight up. And tbey will work on sny carriers phone. Highly Recommended!

Perfect write up in the Sac Bee today, ¾/​14! I think his service is a very necessary one, with cell phones always getting broken, wet, cracked, etc. SOOO glad I read that article just now! Between our family of 8, somebody’s phone is always in disrepair! We’ll be going to see Louie Toro from now on!

Guy is rude as hell. Asking honest questions and he has to be a smartass about them. Not a way to win over customers at all.

The owner of this place knows his stuff! He taught me so much about my phone! If I ever need anything else done, I will run it by him before going to Apple and having them charge me up the a$$ for a repair he could possibly do.
Louie, who I’m assuming is the owner, was very personable, and very straight forward. Which I totally appreciate.
Yeah, the place is on the corner of a busy street and right next to the freeway, but that wont scare me away! If anything, its a great place to people watch!

When the battery that came with my HTC HD7 died after 2 years, I went to Wireless World to get a replacement battery. The battery they sold me did not hold a charge — it discharged in a couple of hours, even when the phone was not being used. I brought it back and asked for a refund. They said they do not give refunds for batteries — «No one does.» Reality check: everyone does. But they did offer to exchange the battery for another battery. I took the exchange. The second battery does not hold a charge.
Do business with these folks at your own peril.

The events of my horrible experience:
1.) He charged me $ 80.00 to repair my iPhone 4S glass
2.) 2 hours later the bottom left portion of the screen turned «grey» with dead pixels
3.) The next day I documented (with e-​mail and photo time-​stamp) and called the owner letting him know of the issue and that I couldn’t come in until next week (since I was going home for Thanksgiving). He said – «No problem, just bring it in»
4.) A week later I called in asking when they close. «Usually I close at 6, but I might be here until 6:15…6:30 tonight.»
5.) I came in at 6:05. He asked «You know, I’m closed.» after explaining why I came in and that I called earlier about hours he proceeded to explain «You know, I don’t want to be here all night.»
6.) He looked at my phone for TWO seconds and mentioned «It’s a pressure crack, I won’t warranty this.» His ego was so large that he said it’s «Absolutely not possible» that his repair could have caused the damage, citing that «it’s never happened to him before.» Even though only a week earlier he INCORRECTLY stated said my phone had been «opened» before even though I purchased it brand new, directly from Apple and has never left my sight.
7.) After mentioning I felt I should report him to the better business bureau his only defense was «Whatever, go ahead.»
Long story short, his ego and unprofessional attitude will ruin his business, but on-​top of that, he has shady customer service and will not guarantee his own work.

This place helped me out like you would never believe. My new iphone needed to be fixed after I dropped it in water. Totallly all my fault. I was about to drive back home to try to get it fixed cause I was out of town. I found this place and brought it in.
He didn’t promise me, but said he would try to fix it. And he did! Later on it started shutting off on me. I brought it back, told me to come back, and it was fixed again. I haven’t had problems since I left there.
I am such gratitude. Family works there… and enjoyed talking to them. If I ever have problems, or know of friends who have trouble I will send them there!

This place has a humongous metro pcs sign outside their building so I assumed they would help me with my metro pcs issue. When I walked in 3 people were basically just hanging out chatting while I waited for service for 15 minutes! Finally one guy looked at me and said «Uh huh, can I help you». I told them that I would like to take a line off my bill & also pay it. They gave me a phone number to call to get everything done. Then he asked for my phone number & while I was looking at my phone, he literally grabbed it out of my hands to find it himself!!! Is that even legal? After that i just left, because that is just plain ridiculous. Needless to say, I will never go back to this place.

Poor customer service!
Calling around to get my Ipod fixed, he quoted me $ 75, and bring it next week b/​c he needed to order parts. No problem. Next week, came in, same story about ordering parts. Was cheapest around, so came back. Same story, and now said it was $ 100. When I said he quoted me $ 75, he said, «Well price just changed, these things are a pain to fix.» If he didn’t want to fix it, he could have just say so. Don’t change the price right in front of me because you don’t want to do the work.
Good thing I found out what kind of businessman he is before I gave him my electronics to work on.

Louie saved Batman! Took my non-​working Batman phone to Wireless World and had the pleasure of meeting someone who would not give up in trying to fix my phone. After attempting many, many possible solutions he was successful in bringing Batman back to life. He is a very dedicated person trying to solve a person’s phone problem. I highly recommend Wireless World if you need your phone repaired or at least need a professional to look at it an determine your problem.

Went in with my mom to get her Samsung vibrant repaired and the guy seems like he is a little quiet at first but we started talking and I realized he’s actually Just an older version of me… he’s very cool and fixed my mom phone for a really good price

I took my son’s phone here and it was fixed while I waited. It was a busted screen instide the phone and the carrier said it could not be fixed. But Wireless World did fix it, and at a reasonable cost. I’ll come back the next time I need any cell phone repairs.

These guys know their stuff– they know the product– and what they are doing. Thats the kind of person I want working on my 300 dollar phone. I recently brought a cracked and torn apart Iphone in– after trying a do –it– yourself kit I bought online– (I know– bad idea) they were quick– and the price was great– considering what they were dealing with. You can also pay your Metro PCS bill here– Also, you cant beat FIVE dollar accessories either! I will definately be returning– and soon…(Im good at dropping my phone)
