I walked in, walked up to the counter and was greeted by Brianna (sorry if misspelled). I told her that the salon I was using abruptly went out of business. I needed to get a tan for my wedding/​honeymoon three weeks away. I was going to get a bronze package (7 tans plus 3 free for $ 63 + tax). She told me they had a special for new customers (unlimited one month, one level higher for $ 65 + tax). I did the new customer package, which also gives me the choice of stand up or bed every time I go. She walked me through everything, from checking in to turning on the bed. She was also helpful with when and how long I should tan. Overall, a great experience and worth driving from East Rutherford to Saddle Brook for.

There are definitely cheaper places but this one is the best because they change their bulbs regularly unlike other tanning salons. Staff is friendly and helpful and not miserable like other places I’ve been to. Best place to tan!

This is one of the more expensive tanning salons in Bergen County but in my experience it’s worth it. For starters, this tanning salon is open until midnight so I don’t feel rushed to get here after work. Also, this location is huge and they have a vast selection of beds ranging from levels 1 – 5. I bought a 30 day package for a trip last year and loved all of the higher level beds! They gave me a quick tan that lasted without really burning (which can happen in the beginning.)
I recently went back to use their mystic tan and this is one of the best mystic tans I’ve ever had. It looked really natural and I did not notice any streaks or splotches. The employee working, Ryan, was super nice and helpful in explaining how everything was done. Unlike your traditional mystic tans, this booth has you turn 4 times for an even tan. This is definitely my go to tanning salon!

I am BIG on great customer service and I can honestly say out of all the tanning salons I have tried, Beach Bum in Saddle Brook has the best staff. Not only are the employees knowledgeable about the different beds and tanning lotions, but they do a great job in making sure cleanliness is up to par. I have tried other places (because of deals like Planet Sun and Hollywood) but I always end up going back to Beach Bum. Highly recommend this tanning salon.

I had my eyelash extensions done by Gia, they came out amazing! She did exactly what I asked and explained what she was doing step by step. I have had extensions done at other salons and this by far was my best experience! I would definitely recommend Beach Bum of Saddle Brook, the staff is extremely helpful with all needs!

Best airbrushes I’ve ever received! So I’ve been getting spray-​tanned by the girls here for as long as I can remember & I’m NEVER disappointed! The girls are very friendly, and professional as well. Jon, the manager, is always super helpful, and always has a smile for me when I walk in. Not only is the environment friendly, but their airbrush artists are well trained and definitely cater to the look I want every time! I recommend this place, hands-​down, every time.

My go to tanning salon for years. Always clean, plus most of the staff is helpful and polite. The stand ups dont all have fully working bulbs, but ive seen that at many salons. I get amazing color and feel great whenever i go!

Went to the saddle brook beach bum location for a spray tan the other day. I was kind of nervous, images of snookie flashed through my mind lol. The girl was very informative on the process and made me feel at ease. My color come out very natural, no traces of orange at all, and I got many compliments :) would definitely recommend a beach bum spray tan & this location to friends and family.

The staff is very friendly and most definitely helpful. I normally don’t go tanning often only to get a base before going on vacation since Im pretty tan already but I always find myself with plenty of questions. This particular location is really clean and spacious. I didn’t have to wait and the staff helped me without making me feel like I was wasting their time (like other tanning salons have). Bathrooms and equipment squeaky clean! Hours and parking are definitely convenient and the location is great since there’s a few stores around In case you need to shop for anything

I worked here for 3 years and this is by far the best tanning salon around. Extremely clean (I know because I’ve seen it!), strong lamps, two sunless options (mystic or airbrush), teeth whitening, and fit wraps. I’ve tried it all there and it’s never failed. Pricing is reasonable and the staff is really friendly as well. If you’re a tanner or just need a glow for an event this is the place!

Very friendly, professional staff, have been to another location that was poorly run with immature kids working there, this location has been great. One day there was a problem with the Mystic machine amd Tabitha handled it very well and even got back to me via text as soon as it was up and running the next morning as promised. Highly recommend this location.

I recently went to this BB location for a mystic tan (which was fabulous) but what I would really like to note is the high level of customer service I received :) the morning after my mystic I realized that I had left my necklace, which had a lot of sentimental value to me, in the salon. An amazing rep named John searched all over the salon to see if he could find it. even almost taking apart the washer/​dryer in case it fell thru. It turns out another rep had stored the necklace in the safe and John called me the moment he found out and even stayed past his shift to wait for me to get the necklace. It meant so much to me that the reps cared so much for my situation– it speaks volumes about this location, the staff, and the focus on customer care and service. Please keep up the great work!!!

This is a convenient location for me. i moved from the wayne area and used to go to that one. They are very nice and accommodating. I have been a few times– I understand the last reviewer was angry about an expired package– but that seems to be corporate. that’s why I buy sessions — and if they expire– they always give me them back if I buy more sessions. I don’t go often– but when I do– I go to beach bum. It’s just reliable.

Packages expire in only 1mo. Crappy policy. Does money expire in 1mo.?! Don’t waste your time. This place sucks if you’re not into tanorexia.
