C and J Family Auto Repair

My rear brakes were squeaking and I was pretty sure I needed pads and rotors. I called several places in the area. I finally happened upon C&J and saw the positive Unilocal reviews, so I gave them a call. They were the only place that could take my car in immediately. I am glad that was the case. Chris was great and the other mechanic answered any questions that I had. They had my car on the rack within 15 minutes of arriving. As I suspected, new rear pads and rotors were needed. They didn’t have my size in stock, so they had to go pick them up. While that added a few hours to the total time of repair, I still had my car by mid-​afternoon.
The price was exactly where I expected it to be for this type of work. Price was on par with something you’d get at Midas.
At no point did I feel that anyone was trying to be dishonest (which I have experienced at other auto repair places). In fact, the mechanic showed my the issue with my rear brakes and showed me how my front brakes were still in good condition.
While I just had the work done, I’ll post again in a few months reassuring quality of work.
However, based on my initial experience, I will take my car here again and recommend C and J Family Auto Repairs to others.

It’s a full year later and the water pump and timing belt Chris installed in my Jetta are still working great! I had to laugh when I read the negative reviews for C and J and clicked on the BBB link provided that shows C and J with only one complaint in the last 3 years and an A– rating. Really… I mean I feel sorry for anyone who has car trouble when they’re on the road, but if you’re out of town and want the added security in case something happens after the car is repaired, then go to the dealer and pay the dealer prices.

Chris was awesome! I just drove up to the cape and needed something fixed and fixed fast! I called a few places and no one could take me. I finally called Chris and he took me in within 5 mins. Not only was it the fastest service I’ve ever had but he was very nice and his prices are beyond reasonable and fair. I will be back if I ever get stuck in the area! I recommend c and j family auto repair to anyone looking for a great mechanic !

The mechanics at c and j auto are bar none the most honest reliable mechanics I have ever dealt with. I highly reccomend using those guys for all of your auto repair needs.
