Baywood Lounge

This place is divey. We went to play pool, so at least we were able to do that, but there is nothing special here. They only have a couple of different wines to choose from, so if you are a wine drinker don’t even bother. We had okay service. I won’t be back unless we want to play pool in the area!

Love this place. Have been coming for years ;) Make sure to check out dollar burgers on Mondays and Saturdays! The bar staff and wait staff are very prompt and friendly. Drinks are great and menu offers traditional bar fair. Great place to stop in for lunch. They have live entertainment on the weekends, DJs/​bands/​karaōke. Only complaint is that some of the bands get a little loud on the weekends, for such a small establishment; but great live entertainment nonetheless.

Spent available bar nights in Sagnasty between here and Whites. Just as I had heralded Baywood as a 3-​Star at best establishment, I was pleasantly surprised. My husband and I came in @11 for a night-​cap and saw the most HIGHlarious hair band I’ve ever had the pleasure of singing along with. Along with the other drunken patrons, we belted out all the goodies– Poison, Kiss, Warrant, etc. etc. These dudes had not changed since 1982, seriously… these were their everyday get-​ups and it RULED!
The Kicker? The bartender reopened the kitchen @ 11:15 (remember, it closes at 10) to make us a slew of greasy food to go. Notably, this is my favorite veggie reuben in Saginaw… Just Skip the Meat!

Very comfortable environment with great bartenders.
The only negative — the clientele can be a little sketchy. But the actual bar is the perfect dive!

Bands, 2 pool tables, free food at happy hour, cheap Bud Light most days a week. Blue-​collar bar with lots of regulars. Great kitchen.

I love Baywood Lounge. I go there after work at least 3 times weekly, as they are only a block away. Staff are all wonderful, especially Christina and Jessica. Great food, beverages and customer service.

A good place for to socalize and drink a beer.

I love the atmosphere of this bar when it’s not a Friday or Sat! It’s quiet. Pretty roomy space with a pool table and darts. I used to frequent this bar after work back when I worked at Lovers Lane. We would all go here for a beer after work. I’ve been going here for about 7 – 8 years. Quite a bit of room. Last time I, there were mostly guys in their fifties. They were so loud and funny though, talking about eating the chili at Baywood and farting all day. Then, the waitress said back to him, «You know you’re not going to get laid talking like that!!!» They do accept credit here, $ 10 minimum. If you like bars that don’t have the reputation for loud and drunken testosterone, go here. They have cool live music here sometimes too.

There’s not really much to say about this place… It’s just and average sports bar with average drink prices, average alcohol in the drinks, average bar entertainment (pool, darts, golden tee) and average sports bar décor. It is roomy though…
