Purchased daughters Homecoming dress from Davids Bridal and it needed alterations. Renae Hall is the alterations manager and she gave up her lunch time to meet with us while we were there to measure and let us know what would need to be done with the dress without having to make another appointment and to come back then again to pick up the dress. This was so helpful for me to do less running. We appreciate what she did for us.

Horrible customer service. My two young daughters and I were just in there and no one even gave us a second glance. Needless to say we left and will not be back.

I was running late for my appointment and they were so kind to me and accommodated me with no problem. The dress is incredible and the alteration was perfection. Shout out to Karla who made sure the dress was just right!!! So happy with my experience.

I would give this place a minus in the star department if it was possible. This is by far the worst retail experience I have ever had and it has lasted over a month. From the beginning it was horrible. I am in a different state from my bridal party so I picked Davids Bridal for their dresses since they are all over the country. What a mistake I made. Only because the store in Saginaw, MI is a JOKE! They refused to help my bridesmaids. Ordered wrong sizes in dresses and then they never called to let us know when dresses arrived. I had to change my color scheme because they failed to order things properly and now I am still waiting on a dress to show up that will not be in till 4 days before the wedding. Not sure how this will work out since wedding party will all be with me in Kentucky long before the dress shows up that may or may not need to be altered since they failed to help in sizing and ordering properly. Rene the«store manager» cannot seem to take responsibility for anything nor does she make anything any better by fixing the issues. She apparently cannot use a phone to make calls to get things dealt with instead she has to email and wait for responses. Funny how my local Davids Bridal doesn’t have to rely on the same unprofessional tactics. Shame on Davids Bridal for hiring such an uneducated, unprofessional person to manage your store and continue to staff the store with people who have no clue what customer service is.

Can I add less then 1 star? My bestfriend is getting married and she lives in Cali, I live in Chicago and other bridemaids live in other states. I made an apts for both a bridal gown for her and bridemaid apt for both. 11am –2pm for both. She is getting married in Saginaw so we picked this David’s. Bad idea. On the phone they told me to have her favorite the wedding and bridemaid dresses so they can have the dresses ready when we get there. They called my phone 2 days before 3 times and didn’t leave a vm. Maybe to confirm? Then they called again the day before and I answered and the lady had no clue who she was asking for to confirm. We get there and they had no dresses pulled. I had to ask 3 times. No joke. They even pulled a few wrong. After trying on 3 dresses the bride to be didn’t like, the lady seemed really irritated. Then she brought out the Tierras. I explained that my friend didn’t like headbands to wear with the bail. What did she do? Brought 3 more for her to try. First the ladies were very fake. They were only nice when they thought we were going to buy the dress. Although we set the apt from 11 – 2 and it was noon. They tried to shoo me out of the fitting room because it was only for brides. The people next to is were buying a wedding gown and the bridemaids were trying on dresses in the room next to us. Maybe they tried to kick us out cause she didn’t think we were going to buy one? Finally they let us use it when I complained. They also told my friend her dress was 59 dollars off only that day. Well a day later it’s the sale price on line. I’ve been in 6 weddings and this was the worst experience ever. David’s bridal is usually better then this. What a disappointment.

I guess it’s true… you get what you pay for! My sister-in-law picked out her wedding dress form here, so naturally, the bridesmaids and I tried on dresses. She liked the idea of each of us picking out our own dress, as long as they were all the same color, and same length. This was the perfect place to do so, in reguards to selection. We all found dresses, ordered them, and loved them! For all of the weddings I have been in, this was my first encounter with David’s Bridal. I was so pleased, and was a little confused, because we had heard opposite of DB but everything seemed to go over very smoothly. So smoothly, that a friend of mine got married shortly after. She said she had one condition to her wedding… she would NOT allow the dresses to come from DB. I think this was crazy to make that your one specification, but ventured to ask why. She went on horror story after horror story from what she had heard happened to people. I told her that for every bad story, there had to be two good stories, bad news just travels quicker than good news, and I let her know about my latest situation. Two of the girls in her wedding lived out of town, so talking her into DB wasn’t nearly has difficult as I anticipated, seeing as how the two other girls could go into that shop just as easily as we could go into this one. We decided on a dress(all the same this time) and ordered them. Ironically enough, she loved the dress I wore for my brother’s wedding, and asked if I minded wearing it again. I said sure why not, since it did flatter my assets well. Only a few months had passed since my brother’s wedding and this wedding, so I knew I had the same measurements, as I had neither lost, nor gained weight. They insisted that they needed to measure me, so I figured, sure why not… They told me I needed TWODRESSSIZESLARGERTHATTHEDRESS I JUSTORDERED. I found this odd, as we were literally getting the same dress for both weddings. Same designer, top to bottom, same dress. But they were the«dress experts» so I sucked up the slap in the face and listened to them. I could always take it in if it didn’t fit, right?! At least they weren’t telling me I needed smaller, nothing you can do to fix that if that’s a mess up… 4 months pass, and most of the other girls dresses were in and almost done altered. At this point, I’m concerned because they wedding is now a month away. I call, and they tell me it’s there for me to come and get. I asked why I never received a call, and they’re only response was«well usually you do get a call, that’s very strange». I decided to brush it off, because really, what’s the point in getting upset or something«silly» at this point? I took a personal day off of work(to get find shoes that matches, take it to an alteration shop, etc etc) I show up, and after standing at the counter for damn near 20 minutes, without anyone even ACKNOWLEDGING my existance… A girl comes up to the counter. We make eye contact, I smile, she looks away, and I stand there patiently and wait for her to call me over. Because she’s clearly busy with something else, since she has not called me over by now. She goes through a couple papers and then starts to look on the computer. A few more minutes go by, and still nothing. Still her looking at the computer. I start to stare at her, because obviously she should say something to me, seeing as how about 5 minutes have now passed at this time(total of approximately 25 minutes now, with no help). I finally go up to the lady and say«I don’t mean to interrupt, but is there someone I need to talk to or something to pick up a dress?» She looked shocked and said«oh I ASSUMED(insert random name here) was helping you. What’s the name on the dress?» I give her my name saying«my first name is Jaymie(spell it out) and my last name is(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) They go back. And I wait… and wait… I’ve now been in this store 45 minutes, and about 5 minutes worth of my time has been«useful». About 5 minutes pass and they finally come out… guess what… empty handed. They appologize and say basically«we don’t have it, we’ll call you when it comes in.» I tell them that this is unexceptable, explain the situation, and asked why mine was taking so long. They very loudly announce, «maybe your dress is taking awhile because they have to add the extra fabric due to your size…» I almost went nuts on them… Now I know I’m not a supermodel, and by no means am I «skinny», but I comfortably wear a size 10 in jeans. I weigh 135 lbs, by no means am I considered«fat». Normally, a dress is a size to two sizes bigger. I expected having to wear a 14 at the most, but they fit me for a size 18… Needless to say, they had my dress all along, and it was TOOSMALL! Yup, still wear a size 10… and a size 18 dress didn’t fit. I had to REORDER… and demanded rush alterations… never again will I go to that dump. What a joke!
