Dollar General Store

My family & I go here mostly out of convenience. The location is close to home & they usually have whatever household basics we need. Not the nicest store. Cleanliness & organization are hit & miss. There almost always seems to be some kind of issue at check out. A few times it was a computer problem causing a ridiculous delay. Sometimes the cashiers/​customers are just slow. Some of the aisles are very narrow, too narrow for 2 people to pass by one another. They do have a decent selection of products, but I don’t think their prices can beat Walmart. The employees are usually very friendly & they try to be helpful. Overall, not a bad place if you need to stop in & grab a few things. Especially if your shopping list isn’t long enough to warrant a trip to Walmart or Albertson’s up the road.
