I’d never been here before and had no idea what I was doing, so I sat inside at the front counter. It was pretty cool being able to see what’s going on in the kitchen. The building was pretty run down, but some people might think it adds to the place’s charm. I ordered the chicken strip basket and it was okay. The service was great though. I’m not sure how it is if you don’t come inside. I was thinking about getting a hot dog but I was confused by what this special sauce was. The girl behind the counter let me try a bit, but it was strange. Not sure why you’d want to put that on a hot dog. To me it tasted like a watered down pizza sauce with tiny bits of bologna inside. Overall, the food was just alright but I actually quite liked the old timey feel of the place. I probably won’t return though.

Fast, friendly and great customer service staff. Love the food! Every time we have a date night, we love stopping by and grabbing a quick bite to eat! Keep up the great job!

Sat for six minutes at the bar. Never got served. When i saw the two waitresses chit-chatting in the back, I left and went somewhere else. I value prompt customer service, and I had no intention of giving these girls my business.

I’ve been going to Old Town Drive in for the past 20+ years. I love that they have the same waitress, and she loves her job… that says a lot about her employer! Old Town has the BEST root beer… I love taking the kids to Old Town Drive-In. It’s family owned. I like that they have the same menu and they haven’t changed with the times, that’s what makes this restaurant so special. Its a blast from the past, a great spot in Saginaw. Make sure you get some gravy with those fries. ;)

What a great little gem. Old school cooking and frosted mugs of root beer and all very reasonably priced. They have the menu printed on large signs on the side of the building. Pull into you parking spot, and the waitress will walk out. They take your order and in very short time they return with your tray which they will hang on your car window. Only item to be aware of are the birds. They have no fear. Might need to protect your food or bring it all in the car when it first arrives. :)

Pull in, find a spot and the waitress comes to your window. The menu is posted on the sides of the building. If you need anything else, just honk your horn. You can walk in and order too. Their coney sauce is made out of bologna. Root beer is delicious! Food came out really fast… pretty decent too. We put pandora on comedy radio and ate so it was like dinner and a show. Girl was friendly and it looked like she was the only one waiting on people…

Everything I have had is good. The burgers, sandwiches, the rootbeer, the chicken strips, deep fried mushroom. Heard the coneys aren’t the best so never had one. Great place, great prices

Old Skool drive-in serving up some great Root Beer and cheap eats. It is a slice of Americana that is quickly disappearing throughout the nation. You get friendly service and«fast» food served to you right in your car. The chili sauce was what we stopped here for on a day back in September. We picked up a quick sizzle steak sandwich as well for a snack. The chili sauce was a huge hit with the family for our hot dog dinner.(Things are simpler up here in Michigan, sometimes that’s a good thing for this fast pace city fella). Make sure you get a root beer…

Are you kidding me? This place deserves more than a 2 star average. I haven’t had a better root beer than at Old Town Drive-In. The food is cheap, quick, delicious and terribly unhealthy for the most part so I do not get a chance to frequent as much as I wish I could. Get the root beer. Make sure it’s a large root beer. You will bounce off the walls after. And if you are anything like me, you will probably want a float or root beer milkshake too. There’s no shame in that. Also, if you are anything like me you will want a gallon of root beer to go… just in case your root beer craving strikes and you are miles from home. Again, no shame. Wish it was open on Sundays.

Love this place! Great burgers, onion rings, chili, rootbeer, nostalgia! Can’t wait to get my old Merc out and GO! Thanks for maintaining a true Saginaw Landmark, Geoff!

Quite possibly the worst coney dog you’ll find in Saginaw.

I like this place a lot. They have great food and delicious rootbeer. Prices weren’t too bad. I like the old fashion car service.
