I took my daughter to get her hair colored and the girl who did it fried it so bad that she has had to put olive oil or coconut oil on it every night before going to bed just so she can get a brush through it in the morning! 88.00 dollars for fried hair never again will I visit this salon!

Horrible! Don’t even think about going here! They burned my scalp so bad I had to go to see a doctor. My hair is messed up too. :( I cannot believe they do hair for TV5. This is a horrible place.

Shapers is a beautiful salon, however — front desk workers are not very courteous. In fact, they were quite stuck up acting. I am 40 yrs old and had just been diagnosed with some health problems. I booked a Chakra massage at Shapers, and am sorry I did. The massage did not fit the description given. The therapist was very nice but my entire body ached for a few days after the massage. I’ve had many deep massages and have always felt relaxed after a massage until this time. I felt bruised and anything but refreshed when leaving Shapers. I wouldn’t recommend it. The massage tables at the mall do a better job… That’s not saying much.

This salon is beautiful on the inside and my stylist was friendly hence why I gave at least a star. My experience here with the services was terrible. I wanted to go with a fresh different color as I explained and even showed a picture for a better example. After completed my color looked the same as before. It hadn’t changed. I even had her add a highlight of blue in the front and it wasn’t visable and she tried to show me where she put it at. She at least offered to recolor it again next week and she thought in the light I would see the new color. Which I didn’t. I got home and the more I looked I realized my haircut was extremely crooked. Thinking this was an Aveda salon and a higher end salon I would get exceptional cuts and colors. This was not the case. Extremely disappointed for the results and the price I paid. I will not be returning.

Aveda product salon and the only one in Saginaw that I know of. Aside from that my experience here was so so. The girls that work here seem to think they’re hot shit and act accordingly. The hair that walks around here however is decently put together, a good measure of the outcome of your own hair if put to their test. I came for a massage, the 3rd one I’d’ had in a few weeks to reduce the stress that builds up in my upper back. I hate that I get these intense knots in between my shoulder blades and I was shopping around for the best massage. Given that I love Aveda products and my hometown Aveda Institute never does me wrong I decided to try this place out. My god the snobbery that exists inside these doors. First of all the place is similar to Serenity in its feel, a little cottage of hair stylery and spaness. However once I entered I felt a little bit jaded by the bitchery of their salon girls. I felt like I was back in New York and attempting to go to some rich bitch salon as a non-member. A lukewarm reception from my masseuse, a young skinny chick, and I was on the table. I don’t really care if I connect with a masseuse as long as they’re strong enough to deal with my problem. This girl looked like she needed a few more lbs added to her upper body workout. As I expected the massage was weaksauce. It was like being massaged by the car wash fingers. Way too light like the touch of a seductress but without the o-effect. I was mildly disappointed until a week later when I developed a rash in that exact area and changed to moderately to severely disappointed. Still searching for an awesome massage.
