Wrege’s is dead in the ‘hood, which I think is the first qualification for a high quality fish mart. They’ve been there ever since I was a tot and they’ve never moved, although I’m sure a worker may have had to dodge a bullet or two over the years. They’ve got your walleye, perch, red snapper, clams, shrimp, and most of your other lovely seafood delights, plus everything you need to cook it in (seasoning, batter/​breading, oil) Basic, but clean and friendly, Wrege’s is where you wanna go for your fish.
