New Day Cleaners

I called to see about setting up the delivery service this morning and was promised a call back from Diane in «just a bit». Well it has been 9 hours later, somehow I don’t think its going to happen. When I did talk to them o the phone earlier I was told the prices on their website are not right and have not been so for over 2 years! Even the coupons and special offers are expired on their website, so don’t bother going there for correct information! Not so great for customer service on many levels.

I moved here from Phoenix few weeks ago. I use dry cleaners weekly for mine and my husband clothes. Place was very pricey for what we are used to in Phoenix. My bill was over $ 100.00 to what we are normally use to $ 40.00. Looking for somewhere else to go.

Had my USAF Service Dress blues coat dry cleaned here. For some reason my coat was also pressed (why? its dry cleaned…), and the press machine crushed all of the buttons on the front of my jacket. I noticed this before even leaving the establishment and showed the person working (older lady). Of course she asked if they were like that before hand. I said no and I told her to look at the coat it was definitely pressed! I had to embarrassingly use my coat with the front buttons crushed. I then had to obtain the buttons from military clothing sales and turn in the coat and buttons to them. They left a note and the buttons attached. Upon picking them up, it was a different person there and had to pay for the buttons to be attached. I was never reimbursed for the buttons or the alteration. Never again this place.

Greetings, I wear Levi’s 501 Original Fit jeans. As most of you may know, these jeans are made to Shrink-​to-​fit. Because of this, I only dry-​clean them. I like the crisp un-​washed look. Well this weekend I pulled my jeans out of the dry-​clean plastic and my jeans had been laundered. The texture changed and obviously the jeans shrank. I spoke with an employee that explained to owners daughter and she suggested I bring them in, but since its been almost a month anything could have happened to them in that time. I declined and told them I’d take my business elsewhere. So much for trying to keep local business in the local economy. Price is cheaper and acceptable quality at the big chain cleaners in Tucson and more convenient!
Disappointed Veteran!

Beware! Took in very special, expensive item, went to pick up on promised date, told it was lost. Cleaner called the next day, damaged. Went to pick up, again, irreplaceable item damaged, told by clerk «it happens, we had a dress get damaged last week,» forced to pay or she would not return my item, no apology or reimbursement.

Very bad customer service, rude and they ruined my Scarf by ripping the tag off. I called them, they said I was a liar and they returned it perfectly. They punched holes in a $ 200 silk scarf. Plus the scarf is pretty dirty! Doesn’t even look like they cleaned. Don’t use this people!!!

Took 5 pairs of pants there to be hemmed. It took 2 weeks, was high priced ($ 13.00 a pair) and were poorly single stitched with a ¾″ seam. Terrible place, will go to the cleaners on Houghton by Fry’s in Rita Ranch, much better than this place.
