This place was my go to shop. Today I was looking to buy some comics for my oldest son and pass it on. However they have closed the shop and are only doing shows and reselling. Bummer. Thanks for the memories.

Just like the other person said, this place is the definition of comic shop. I always went there when I was growing up. It was packed with comics from wall to wall. In fact I recall there always being a section that was roped off. I was wondered what was beyond the rope. It was filled with tons of silver age comics. I loved sifting though it all. Next time I’m in town, if it’s still there, I plan on stopping by.

This was my childhood comic shop. I used to go here every Wednesday for new comic day. It is, for me, the quintessential comic shop. It’s old, packed from wall to wall with boxes and aisles of comics, smells weird, has posters covering all the windows, is run by weird old dudes, etc. etc. I haven’t been in for years, but I’m sure it hasn’t changed much. I wouldn’t be surprised if they had some younger staff now. The guy who used to be in there when I was young was all grayed out even back then.
