Shooter’s Saloon

The very best thing about Shooter’s: it doesn’t try to pretend to be something it’s not. It’s a bar, and it has all of the basic qualities of a bar. It’s got a pool table, it’s got a juke box, it’s got TV screens, it’s got dart boards, it’s got tables to sit at and best of all, it’s got a great bar to sit at and drink.
It also happens to have a Vermont Lotto game machine.
Drinks are very reasonable in price and the staff here work hard to please everyone. It’s a bit on the dark side and the music can get a bit loud but it’s not trying to be a bistro, it’s not trying to be a brewpub, it’s not trying to be a sports bar. It’s just a great (and very clean) bar.
If you want a place to unwind with a few drinks and actually be in a full-​fledged bar, try Shooter’s.

Only four beers on tap, but two are good VT brews, four dollars for a pint.
