Never, ever, ever, again!!! The hubby and I were passing through St. Bernard for the first time. We wanted to grab a drink and came across this place. The outside look almost looked inviting for a bar. We walked inside and stepped into the confederacy! There’s confederate flags all over the place. Looked like a place that my husband, who is african american, probably wasn’t welcomed. I will say that no one necessarily treated us bad or said anything to us to make us feel like we needed to leave though. There were a bunch of old people who seemed like there were regulars. One person got mad because the gas station next door wouldn’t take back the cigarettes she bought. That caused the ENTIRE bar to get worked up. At that point we had already gotten a drink. The bar tender left to go try to bing back the cigarettes herself while the rest of the bar continued to yell and curse and have angry conversation about the situation. The hubby and I got so uncomfortable we left. Not like we could get another drink anyways, the bartender had left! By the way, I feel it important to mention that the bartender did not know that Bud Light, Coors, Miller, etc. were the domestic beers, not Corona and Heineken

Confederate flags adorned with slogans such as «The South Shall Rise Again» and racist comments from both staff and customers… I regret going here. Not even the classic rock jukebox and the old guy with white hair and a mechanical larynx(i.e., voicebox) could save this place. The beers are very cheap, but I’ll spend of few extra dollars elsewhere.
