I have been there a few times. Once recently. Good tap beers. Good pizza from simple toaster ovens. Garbage pizza is the one to have. Good value close to home, for us anyway.

Horrible service! We came from the Renaissance Festival… waited for server to come to table .I went up to bar, ordered. food, walked back, brought food back to my table. I am a a server/bartender and service was awful!

Pizza is pretty good for a rich craving of cheese. Nothing special but it just has a particular goodness to it that satisfies you unbelievably. Their prices have gone up slightly:(The pizza with everything on it is quite good!

Although Grumpy’s is more of a bar then a restaurant, they have a pretty good selection of «bar food» They have your typical burgers and plenty of various baskets. The chicken strip basket was good and the burger was excellent.

St Bonifacius, MN

No kidding — this place has the best pizza. My wife and I always get the Grumpy’s Special and it is always fantastic.
Based on the pizza and cold tap beer it would be 5-stars.
The bar generally smells like stale beer. You definitely feel like you’re in a small town. Anytime you see a jar of pickled eggs on the bar you know you’re at the right place.
Music on the weekends. Guess what kind of bands you get with no cover charge.
It is a good place to have a drink, eat a pizza, and drink some more.
