There’s so much Americana in this store. And this time of year, lots of holiday-style Americana. Some of it is rather dowdy. Some of it is Paul Revere-ish. Some of it is contemporary. Lots of candles, placemats, battery-powered candles, lamps, framed art, crafty garlands, Christmas trees and ornaments, hearth and fireplace decorations, Knick-knacks. Numerous levels and lots to view. It can get crowded moving about. Lots of eye candy!

Cobble Stone Cottage is the place to go if you are looking for items that give off that old colonial feel when it comes to home dcor. Walking in through the double doors you are greeted by images of old America. You look around and see portraits of Thomas Jefferson and George Washington, though there are no pictures of Washington’s fake teeth. Inside though, there is a lot more than just pictures. They have al kinds of lamps, some of them I found to be really cool looking. They had an almost early industrial look to them which made the lamps sand out from the rest of the pictures and furniture throughout the shop. But it did not stand out in a bad way. The lamps did not have some outrageous design to them, but have the subtle differences that set them apart from most other lamps. Cobble Stone Cottage is a nice place to find pieces of traditional America.
