Shamokin Tree Care

Bob and his men did a great job trimming my two trees. They were fast but efficient. Last year had an ash that we wanted trim but when they got up there it had the ash bug. Said we should cut down. We did so and this year called again because they did such a great job.

I must say… I was VERY impressed with Bob and his crew! I called on a Tuesday and they came out THAT Saturday and took down a dead pine and trimmed some of my trees. The price was unbeatable. Seriously. His crew worked very efficiently and were pretty fun to watch. You can see they actually enjoy what they do. I will use them again for sure and have already recommended them to my friends and family. GREAT JOB!

I had a gigantic, decaying oak next to my house. I called Shamokin Tree Care again and they did another fantastic job. The tree was down within a week and the stump ground, the debris hauled off. Thanks again Bob!

Our Blue Spruce had so many dead branches, we new decided to contact an arborist to give us some advice. We were referred to Shamokin’s from our local nursery. Shamokin came to our home, studied our tree and then told us the bad news — it was dying. They gave us some quotes, one to trim the dead branches, one to remove the tree and one to remove the stump. The prices were much lower than we were expecting. Then a bad storm hit. It took out one of our «healthy» trees and damaged another tree. We called Shamokin and advised them we wanted the blue spruce removed, the stump ground down to allow for another tree and the tree that was damaged in the storm to be repaired.
Addison started warning its residents about scams where trees were being taken down, but they were not hauled away. They said be careful of prices that were too good to be true. I grew nervous. What if Shamokin did not remove the tree completely? After all, their prices were too good to be true! Then the day came. They removed the tree — all of it, and repaired our damaged tree. A day or two later, they ground the stump low enough to allow for a new tree. (Actually they ground down so low I think they reached China.) Yesterday, we received the invoice. I still think the prices are too good to be true.
