Swank Salon

I have been getting my hair colored and cut here for a couple of years now and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. Juan and Brad are both at the top of their field. They are easy-​going and funny, what a bonus. I always feel great leaving their salon. Consistently excellent results.

I am now living in CO, and wished I could make a trip back to the Fox Valley just to get Brad to color and Juan to cut my hair. They (Becka included) are very professional and so competent!

Juan really knows how to cut hair. I had one of my best ever haircuts by Juan last month. I’m very picky and I know when I get a good haircut — the cut was completely connected and has been growing out very well. I also love Becca for highlights — she truly understands color. You can’t go wrong at Swank.

Brad, Juan and Becca are truly the three best stylists around. I lived in the the city for about 5 years and would make the hike out to STC just to see Brad. No one creates natural-​looking color like him (and funky-​fun color too). He is a master of his craft. Becca does the BEST blow-​outs around and Juan is so patient and precise with his cuts. Best place in the Chicagoland area. And even better… Small Business Support!

All I have to say is look at my hair and Sofia D’s. Go here and be fabulous.

Swank Salon is a must try! If you are tired of your hair taking 45 minutes to do because the cut is so bad, hair dresser doesn’t listening or your color looks like you did it at home in the dark, Swank Salon is the place to restore your faith in a salon, it’s AWESOME! Call the boys up now and don’t wait another minute! Juan and Brad are the BEST! I drive all the way in from Yorkville to have my hair cut and colored and it amazes me how many people tell me my hair looks GREAT!

I heard about Juan and Brad’s (stylist and colorist, respectively) magic touch through a friend of mine. Based upon her fantastic cut and vibrant color, I knew I’d be getting top notch quality.
Brad and Juan were polite and friendly when we met and got increasingly funny as I got to know them better; they joked around and made me feel at ease while they were busy doing their thang. The second time I went to Swank, I had the brilliant idea of adding a little pizazz to my look but had no clue where to even start. I went in looking a little frumpy (okay, maybe a lotta frumpy is more appropriate… at least I admit it) and walked out with eyebrow length thick fringe and a burst of purple along the front of my hair while the rest was a dark brown with hint of deep red. It looked AMAZING! I’ve never been one to take risks when it comes to my long tresses yet was confident that these dudes knew what would look best with my face shape as well as personality. I’m scheduling my touch-​up for next week and am looking forward to another perfect experience… Also, their salon is conveniently located next to a Mexican restaurant, which means I walk next door and max out on several chicken tacos and an horchata while my color is processing… But I digress. Come check out their fabulous work, I guarantee they’ll knock your current hairdresser out of the water.

My sister in law recommended Juan for my bridal up-​do. Juan was very patient with me as I had trouble deciding what I wanted for my wedding day. We went through 4 differnt up-​dos to help me decide. On the day of my wedding he did a fantastic job. I felt like a princess and I recieved a lot of compliments on my up-​do. You have to have good hair on your wedding day and Juan made sure I did.
