They always seem to have the odds and ends that we need that know one either carries or charges an arm and a leg for. I would recommend it to people but call ahead first to check and see if the have it.

My friend recommended me check this place out as they sell electronic components, which is a rare thing to see outside of Radio Shack. I was in the area one day, so I stopped in. My experience may have been a bit jaded from my friend’s hype, but I didn’t find anything much spectacular about the storefront, at least not for my needs. It doesn’t really have much as far as components go at all. I’d say Radio Shack actually has a much better selection. The aisles just seems a bit empty. There were a few electronics kits, but they were basic and a bit pricey. The place also seems to sell some radio-type stuff, possibly for ham radio, some audio connectors, and wire. It’s been a while since I’ve been, but there just wasn’t much for me. After taking a look at their site, it appears the company does cabling, AV systems, alarm systems, DJ systems, and a bunch of other odds and ends. I was going to give the place a lower rating, but it really just seems like a storefront that augments the service portion of the business. If I were to recommend anything to make any substantial business in the store, it would be real nice to see some inexpensive microcontrollers, sensors, robotic, and kit-type stuff. Microcontrollers(especially Amtel AVR based) are all the rage right now and would sell very nicely without a doubt(with a little advertising first). I don’t know of a single place within an hour’s drive that specializes in the stuff. Micro Center sells Maker kits now, but I wouldn’t waste my money. In all, it’s not what I expected. I hope someone is able to write a review on their service though, as this review is pretty much about the storefront from someone who isn’t too interested in AV or security systems.
