We have had the pie here a couple times, not too bad and most certainly better than the $ 5 carry out competition. One thing that I highly recommend are the cinnamon sticks! Imagine carnival elephant ear in a pick up ready to eat snack stick and a whole box of them to share!!! They are absolutely awesome melt in your mouth goodness, A great desert after the pizza or for a carry out snack after dinner at home.

Stopped in for supper on Monday. Similar to many pizzerias, they had a small dining area by the windows — two tables — seat 4 people each. I ordered the meat lover‘s deep dish square pizza. With pepperoni, ham, bacon and sausage, it was pretty good! Note: Kinda somber mood today, as this restaurant is right next door to the party store where the owner was shot & killed last week. They will be sending a couple trays over for the fundraiser at Detroit Pub on Saturday.

While having a sibling get together last night at my Brothers, I thwarted the«Let’s get a couple of $ 5 Pizza’s»…I really didn’t need nor want blocked up intestines this weekend! I was perusing Unilocal, and my brother pulled out a flyer for MF’s and we decided to go with it and try the newly opened(or changed ownership, business, or newly changed name. not sure which) pizza joint, that had good coupon specials, and was relatively close. We ordered one round pizza and one square pizza, a small fella’s bread and a large garden salad. It wasn’t bad really. Not the greatest pizza I’ve had, but better than the $ 5 dollar gigs! The Fella’s bread was good… a little cheesy, and by that I mean, when the stix cooled down, it was kinda thick… and not the most flavorful… maybe add or some garlic or something… Pizza’s were good, I only had the round that had green pepper on it. It tasted pretty decent, the crust was different… not that super doughy stuff, maybe a little greasy, or almost that deep fried taste… it was okay, not bad… The salad was pretty fresh… dressings(all.ranch, italian, and the marinara for the fella’s stix) all pretty standard… you know the kind you get a Gordon’s food supply… So all in all, it’s great for a quick fix for that pizza craving… There are A LOT of other pizza places in the area, so they have their competition cut out for them… Would I go back… maybe…they just opened so I’ll give them time to work out their kinks… There was just nothing special about this place to make them stand out from all the others… there are all the major competitors in the area, like Jets, Hungry Howies, Dominos.etc.then there are the better Mom & Pop places like Paisanos… So YOU decide :-)
