Rarely, if ever, can this travesty of a business be called a convenience store. Bottom of the barrel, watered-down gasoline, over-priced merchandise, lackluster service and a general lack of caring about anything customer-related. One does NOT usually switch shifts at 8am, noon or 5pm, the busiest times of the day. Yet, they seem to manage it. Well, they have difficulty managing even that, I think. The management team at Uni-Mart in St. Clair(which isn’t even an actual Uni-Mart — they’re too cheap to change the signage), all seem to be individuals with major developmental disabilities. I’m assuming some of them have taken some sort of courses about running a store, but they seem to be trying their best to make«Uni-Mart» the worst store in Schuylkill County. And they’ve succeeded on that point. Avoid this store like the plague! The other, actual Uni-Mart up on Hwy 61 and Patterson is much better, and Del Camp’s market a few blocks east of that is much better stocked. And heading to Turkey Hill in Port Carbon is an even better option, since they have Redbox.
