Hidden gem for some peace and quiet near the Disney Orlando madness. At the north end of the St Cloud Historic District is this lake stretching north to the horizon. Long fishing pier by boat docks is handicap-accessible. Park here all day free next to popular walking jogging trail along Lakeshore Boulevard, several Old Florida on the other side of Lakeshore. Clean well-kept park.

I was here this morning for the St. Cloud Christmas parade. I was invited to march in the parade in a specific section. I will not provide the name just in case for publicity reasons here on Unilocal.I don’t want my review to be reflected who I support. Anyways, back to my review of this lovely park area. I parked in the side streets and walked down Ohio street. Walking towards the lake felt like an ocean because I couldn’t see the other side from the short distance. The lake was marvelous, gorgeous park offerings, very large in size, and was just lovely overall. There was a playground for children to play, sidewalk for exercise, restaurant, some concession stand available, and a nice scene to relax by the lake. I thought this place is a hidden gem for the area. I don’t visit this area much, but this park is very nice. I will come back soon to enjoy all offerings here. I believe there is more to see and do. Once I go back, I’ll update my review. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves a lake atmosphere.

Great covered playground, concession stand, splash pad and lake access! Kids had a blast! Free parking. I’d give it 5 stars if it had more benches for seating.

Absolutely beautiful lake. It’s huge. They have the waterfront covered in nice white sandy beach sand. Boating, skiing, swimming and a great water park for the kids. Oak trees line the street with covered picnic tables and grills. Restaurant is right there if you prefer to not cook out and it’s great food and drinks.

Very nice. The lake front is my favorite thing about St Cloud. They recently just expanded the west side of the trail and added another restroom facility. It did a 360 in the past 5 years. When I was a kid it never looked that nice as it does now. Great Job City of St Cloud!!!

This truely is St. Cloud’s largest asset. The remodeled lake front now has been transformed with a beautiful non bumpy bike path perfect for fitness inline skating as well as bikes and jogging. It is about 2 miles long. The path is adorned with fountains a playground and splash pad playground for kids, a restaurant, a marina for boating and there is a grass walking path which is great for dogs. Weekends can get busy especially if its a holiday weekend but during the week it is a lot less crowded, they have beautiful sunsets so you may want to bring your camera.
