Fish Rock Grille At the Ledges

The ambiance of this restaurant on the golf course was really nice with great views out the large windows. I’m looking forward to trying it in the warmer times when we can sit outside. The food was pretty good, and the staff was friendly.

Great atmosphere and contrary to other reviews a friendly, accommodating staff. Servings are ample and the food is good. You won’t go away hungry. It is a favorite. We have eaten here several times.

This rating is only for the service level as we decided not to stay long enough to try the food. We waited at the hostess stand for a couple of minutes hoping for a late lunch special before the hostess greeted us with a «can I help you?» As if we were lost and looking for a restroom. She sat us on the deck in the beautiful warm sun with a nice view of the golf course and the red rocks. After about 5 minutes a woman who said she works in the snack bar brought us some water and then lemon. We waited for another 10 minutes and watched two servers walk by us without saying hello. We happened to overhear some frustration by patrons at surrounding tables about the wait for their food. We inquired about how long they were waiting and they both said «over an hour!» The place was not that busy and we’d seen enough. On the way out the hostess asked if there was anything she could do, but it was too late. We’ll not be back.

If you like a relaxing location, golf course views, great food and great services, this is the place for you. Although it is a little drive up Highway 18 out of St. George, it is worth the trip.
We stopped by for lunch and were not disappointed. We had the gnocchi and the ravioli. Both were rich and flavorful.
The wait staff (Molly) was helpful and friendly which made the experience even more enjoyable.

I made reservations based on a previous review and they said there was a wedding in them main dining room but the lounge was open. The lounge was very nice. And the meal was excellent. We had the blackened chicken gnocchi and for a starter the fried calamari. Dinner came with a salad and we just split the entrée. Both dishes had really good flavor. Dessert was a turtle-​tini and a turtle caramel cheesecake. It was a bit much but we were having a great time and didnt want the night to end. Oh and the drink list was great. To top it all off our bill was under 60 $! Crazy! And to top all that off our waiter was top notch. I will be coming back… I just hope it won’t be during a wedding reception next time.

Excellent views, restaurant has a fantastic old lodge vibe, staff was quick, food was prepared perfectly — had the nachos which were fantastic to share as an appetizer and the hamburger and fries were excellent!

Unbelievably rude staff. I was traveling in St George area and had heard about this restaurant I wanted to celebrate a special event with a friend so inquired Unilocal for info NO warning on their website that reservations were Mandatory I and my friend were unceremoniously told we would not be seated– restaurant was nearly empty the time was 6 maybe they just don’t want customers
