Bar Louie

There are good weekly specials; check ahead. The menu is decently-​sized with a good variety (if a bit all over the place), too. However, there really isn’t anything too special about the food or the atmosphere, and the service completely depends on the luck of the draw.

Kinda dumpy (but it’s a bar, I guess) with sticky tables and dirty/​beat up seating. But they have pretty good bar food. Major negative for me is that their chefs are VERY inconsistent with the cooking. One day their salad is delicious, the next week the same salad is the size of a quarter and vegetables are old. Cute staff though makes it tolerable.

Drinks are a little pricey, but a really fun place. Love their burger night, and I can’t remember if they still do karaōke … but I’m always down for rockin’ the mic. ;-)

great atmosphere, full on bar & large menu selection. i recommend the pretzels and the LUIGI!!! this particular bar louie is constantly hosting new ideas, ie: acoustic open mic night, DJ battles, themed parties. always good times, but the last time i went the DJ battle was so LOUD i had to leave. also, be advised it can get quite smokey.

Bar Louie has great atmosphere, great service, and great food. On Mondays and Thursdays all food is half off! The prices are already very reasonable, so this is practically a steal! I have never had a bad experience here. If you are a non-​smoker I would suggest sitting far from the «railing» that divides the two sections. This is my only complaint about this location. I hate tasting and smelling smoke while I am trying to enjoy my food. The food is delicious, and all that smoke that pours into the «non-​smoking» section has a tendency to ruin the experience if you sit too close to the center of the restaurant. You’re going to want a table that is located on the far East side, or in the separate party room on the East side. I absolutely love having the ability to pay half price for food that is worth way more than that, all while having a relaxing and fun experience. However, remember to tip the waiter/​waitress the same amount you would tip for the FULL price of your food. All in all, Bar Louie is definitely an excellent choice to please your palette, indulge your senses, and most importantly fill your belly with a superb lunch or dinner!

Er… came here on layover from a wedding ceremony to the reception because sadly, Three Floyd’s was jam frickin’ packed.
Luckily, we got there during their weekend happy hour time so it was ½ off all the apps… NICE! Because I really prefer to stay away from the food here. The service was slooooooow and the server was not very happy to have us at her tables… even though our group of 12 quadrupled the amount of people that were in the bar before.
I just got a side of fries but I partook in some pretzel sticks and cinnamon butter as well. For the ½ price thing, it was a good deal and very decent with portions but still not good food. We all felt heavy and tired after we were done with our small plates and just needed to get outta there.

This is a great place to go with friends to watch a game (the bar) or an entire family to have an afternoon out. The menu is large enought to please every taste! The atmosphere is open and inviting, and seating for large groups makes it a fun destination. Try the loaded tots! The staff is always friendly, and you feel good eating there knowing you are supporting a local business.

Good Food, Great place to eat and drink. Havent had a bad meal there yet. Great bar food. The only problem i had was horrible service. The bartender just didn’t care! Then dont work there! She needs to go. Not a family resto. Its a bar first.
