Jimmy John’s is always a spur of the moment place for me to eat. If I happen to be in the area, it is a very quick, easy, healthier than a burger joint, place to get food. The wall décor always brings a smile to my face. Perhaps the biggest proponent of my coming back, though, is the day-old bread. The bread is still in fantastic shape and is extremely delicious, and you can buy it for an absolute steal. I usually get 2 – 3 loaves per visit. Sometimes, I go in just to buy some of the bread.

My wife and I started going to this Jimmy Johns in St. John Indiana after the local subway raised its prices. We were ok with the service until my wife went to get sandwiches and was totally upset and frustrated. The employee behind the counter was cleaning up the floor sweeping with his gloves worn while making sandwiches still on. They were dirty, and she saw him physically picking up dirt off the ground with them. He than comes over to the counter, doesn’t change his gloves, and begins to make our sandwiches. She called him out on it, said it was totally gross, and walked out. This was about 4 months ago, and we haven’t been back. We still go to other Jimmy Johns in the area(Dyer and Crown Point), but apparently the people working at this one are just incompetent.

I went here for lunch almost every day fort three months; good service always. Plenty of tables, free wifi, and of course, free smells.
