Not consistent. But burgers are usually pretty good. I don’t like how there is usually a kid running around yelling for her mom. You’re at work find a sitter so we can enjoy our meal.

Thanks to De F. for the olive burger tip. It was outstanding. Pairs perfectly with a cold draft. I wasn’t real impressed with the chili cheese fries, but they weren’t bad. Just not my style.
Overall, I was really happy. Nice bar décor, friendly, welcoming. Nice place.

Great atmosphere. It feels like a bar that anyone can enjoy. Very relaxing and good bar selection. Prices are very good. And do not get me started on the Burgers, they are currently on a streak for best burgers in town for more than 5 years. And it make sense. If you want a good joint to hang out at with friends and family this is a great place. Everything is just great in this place. I am a frequent costumer and I will continue to be.

FACT: Swany’s offers the best burger in town. In addition, they have a variety of homemade soups on a menu that changes regularly. When chili is available, try the chili cheese fries — they’re killer! Great place to grab a bite and a brew. While it’s far from a gourmet experience, it’s obvious that the owner and staff take pride in the quality and careful preparation of their menu’s offerings. Would agree that it’s the best bar in St. Johns. If I need a burger and some deep fried cuisine (jalapeño poppers… MMMM) or just feel like tying one on, there’s no better place to go.

Swany’s is the best bar in Saint Johns. The old woodwork is beautiful and the staff is great. If you really want a «bar» experience go to Swany’s. And as I’ve stated before, the Olive Burger is better than any I have found in the Mid-​Michigan area.
