Great little Café with fresh baked goods and good quality turkey and ham for paninis.

Not sure what the hype is about. Midwest Living talked about a Lake Effect Mocha, which didn’t exist. The service was nice, but not that fast. The food and drinks were over priced and not differentiated. The serving sizes were a bit small

A small chai latte was $ 3 — quite expensive, imo. It was really good though. I have been told the minestrone soup is amazing. A super cute place for brunch or date. I would still rather a typical coffee shop. Decent study/work atmosphere. However, I’d probably rather Union Coffee because of the price.

The smoked turkey is amazing but it is so noisy in the restaurant .The special French toast is really good I demolished it. Minestrone soup was great too.

Had lunch here with a(new) friend Monday, and it’s that visit which I’m reviewing though I’ll confess that I’m harking back to years of eating here sporadically. We both ended up ordering the turkey sandwich, though I had it on bread and she had it over greens. Good sandwiches and soups, with a selection of pastries. Inside, the restaurant’s a bit noisy and cramped, so we ended up sitting outside – thankfully it was 70 degrees or thereabouts. Overall, I’d recommend this for takeaway – the bluff’s only a block away, with plenty of seating.

Cute coffee shop! Great coffee and awesome croissants. They even serve wine for a later time as well.

They serve best coffee ever and pastries I have ever had. Illy coffee is to die for and the food is second to none. The only downside is there’s not much seating and you may have to fight off some FIP’s during the summer.

Excellent coffee, and very friendly service. I would highly recommend Tosi’s for a cup of coffee, or a casual quick breakfast.

So disappointing on so many fronts. Out of croissants at 11am on a weekday. They do not put salt or pepper in their eggs. So they are tasteless. They got my order wrong & put cheese & ham on my sandwich. When I had them remake it, I asked for pesto. Sandwich came over loaded with the most tasteless pesto ever. Not sure what herbs they used, but it certainly wasn’t fresh basil. No lemon or Parmesan flavor either. Also they were out of ketchup– really? Prices are in line with a nice Chgo breakfast spot– which this is not. I wish I would have realized that the South Bend Chocolate Shop next door has breakfast options at a fraction of the price that proved to be much better than Tossi.

I am a coffee snob(currently opening my own coffee shop), s but I was very excited to learn that there was a bitchin’ coffee shop in St. Joe. My daughter and I stopped here every single morning of our vacation. It was a real treat to be able to have a proper espresso drink every morning(and sometimes afternoon!). My 3 year old also loved her hot chocolate every morning, and the baristas were sweet to cool it down for her a lot without me even asking. After just 2 days of coming here, the baristas knew my name and were always very friendly. I wish i could bring this coffee shop home with me :) I didn’t have any meals there other than breakfast so I can’t attest much to the food, although our breakfasts were outstanding. I will probably be dreaming about the cheese Danish for weeks :) sugary crispy perfection. My daughter loved their sugar cookies. The waffles and egg croissants were delightful too! Best coffee in St. Joe! Thanks for the lovely mornings :)

I have mixed reviews for this place. First off it is way too expensive. We are in St. Joseph, why the high prices? The coffee was horrible and expensive. However the croissant sandwich and granola were both good– but again over priced!!!

This the place is the bomb. While other cafes around here are American imposters, Tosi captures the true European spirit of an espresso and bakery stop. With fresh ingredients, fun décor, delicious baked goods and a wide variety of coffee options, look no further for your café needs than this place. Went here twice on our two day getaway, and you know it’s good if the locals are here!

Reliable wifi. Delicious pastries/goodies. Particularly the chocolate croissants(when fresh) & giant granola/trail mix cookies. Illy coffe is pretty good – but the decaf SUPER strong. Service for food is often slow. But they’re friendly. Bathrooms located back through the kitchen – not a big deal. There’s not place for them anywhere else.

Great cute place. Wonderful coffee and tea selection. Welcoming and kind employees. Delicious minestrone, warm goat cheese salad and one of the best tuna melts I’ve ever had. Looking forward to my lemon tarte and tea for dessert.

One star deducted: literally three diff items to choose from for breakfast Two stars deducted: 5 people working behind the counter and you still wait FOREVER and a day for your order. It is extreme and absolutely asinine and ridiculous. Like 15 mins for your drink order. WHERE’S THECLOSESTSTARBUCKSPLEASE?! Three stars deducted: Snotty females working here. Honey please. One star: The only breakfast sandwich on the menu was decent Two stars: my chai tea latte(after waiting 15 mins) was ok *oh, and to use their washroom, you must go up stairs past the kitchen BEHIND it. Creepy Save yourself the grief and go down the st to Thornton’s Hometown Café for friendlier service and GREAT pancakes

This place is weird. When we arrived for lunch, there were at least five employees behind the counter, but only one taking orders. The other four just hovered, waiting to shout out the name of the person whose food was up. At one point, I wandered over to the soda case and asked one of the just-standing-around employees how much the bottles were. While he fumbled for an answer, another just-standing-around employee jumped out from behind him and said, «$ 2.50! They’re all $ 2.50.» Guess the extra employees are there to back up the less well-trained ones. Wonder what the extra«F» in «Caffe» is for. I ordered the grilled cheese panini and it took f.o.r.e.v.e.r. to arrive. Maybe they were backed up with other orders or something.(It didn’t seem that busy.) But we’re just talking about bread, cheese and heat. Maybe a five-minute operation, right? I think I waited 15 minutes. When I got my sandwich, it seemed kind of bland. It supposedly contained«baby Swiss, provolone and asiago,» but there wasn’t a ton of flavor. Caffe Tosi isn’t bad, per se, but I think you can find better(and faster) food elsewhere.
