I ordered flowers to be delivered on my friend’s birthday, but the shop failed to deliver them. It’s their policy to call recipients before the driver is sent to make sure the recipient is there. I’m sure several florists have the same policy but I think it ruins the element of surprise for the recipient. My friend doesn’t monitor his cell phone constantly like most people, so unfortunately he missed the florist’s call and therefore the flowers weren’t delivered. If I were the shop manager and saw that the order was for a birthday and that the recipient’s address was a five-​minute drive from the shop, I would have sent a driver anyway.
I normally use Teleflora, and actually had a good experience with a different florist who delivered to the same address last month. This time, though, I thought I would order directly from a florist because I imagine Teleflora takes a cut. So much for trying to help the small business owner.
I spoke with the manager and he was respectful and listened to my concerns, but their customer service in general leaves much to be desired.
I will not use this florist again.

Absolutely excellent florist! I’ve ordered flowers through Rob four times and they were wonderful every time! They were always delivered perfectly on time and lasted for well over a week. Make sure to use this place if you ever need beautiful flowers on time with zero hassle! I was actually kind of happy when my girlfriend started working in St Joseph again because that meant that I could get her flowers from a place that I can trust.
