I enjoyed my time with this QT location. Initially, I was taken aback by the screaming deals in the Swedish fish department. Hours later, I regained my composure and managed to look about the store for other deals. The ice cream parlor in the back has a phenomenal selection & it took all my willpower to resist. Additionally, they have an endless selection of soda that could satisfy even the pickiest of guzzlers. Reflecting on my experience, I’m unable to pinpoint how this QT made a lasting impact on my life, and that’s okay. At the end of the day, it’s just a gas station, not my gas station, but OUR station. Moving forward, I’ll be able to smile as I pass QT on my commute home. Thank you QT, although you have a pretty average beer cave 4⁄5

I started my day by casually filling my tank with a few gallons of gasoline, you know the good stuff. What came next I could hardly imagine. I walked into the station and was pelted in the face by an aroma of deliciousness. It was at this moment I transfigured into one of the three forms of God. QT was perfect because they allowed me to turn into Heman and have the power. After carefully picking from the candy section, I felt like that kid in the candy store. I made my way to create my very unique and diabolical combination of slushy and topped it off with one of their in store pizzas and low end hot dogs. When presenting my goods to the clerk she handled them ever so gingerly, making their service a 9⁄10. My experience was nearly perfect, but their food had an unusual effect on my body, which would ultimately lead to me buying a new throne for my master bath. Until the morrow my fellow Unilocalers. 1⁄5

Most QT’s are look nice and clean but this one is by far the best one I have ever seen! Perhaps it’s a newer location or in a nicer area with other things nearby. Who knows but I love it! It’s very clean inside and out… the gas pumps are super clean too! I will definitely frequent this QT whenever i’m in the area.

I love this QT! It’s a new construction so as far as cosmetics go; they’re winning here. It also comes equipped with the Kitchens Café that makes my latte pretty damn close to how Starbucks prepares them except here my drink is two bucks cheaper and doesn’t count toward my Gold Card rewards.

I don’t think I have ever had a bad experience at QuikTrip. The QuikTrip in the Grove is a great location. I usually check the gas prices daily and I see that this location is usually one of the cheapest if not the cheapest. Quick access to Manchester or I-64WB its a great location. As previously stated, the lot is well lit so those that have questions about going to gas stations in the city at 3am, this place is perfectly safe and Police frequent this business to get their sodas and use the restroom. I usually see at least one member of Law Enforcement there either when I pull up or before I leave the lot. I feel sorry for whatever fool try’s to play crazy in this location. Wouldn’t be a good ending. As usual this place is well lit and the staff are always amazingly fast and nice. There could be a long line and you will think its gonna take forever. They press that buzzer to get help and the whole store is cleaned out in 4 minutes. Its really awesome and QuikTrip is my preference when it comes to gas stations. I do wish they would have put in a car wash at least have one Car Wash Location in STL to test the Waters. I know the Car was at the BP Station at I-64 and Jefferson is new and it is packed non stop, police cars going through non stop and a steady flow of traffic into the car wash. Busy enough they have attendants out there working the car wash all day. They have a great membership package too. The only other car wash I would use right now is Waterway but thats way out Chippewa or in Westport. QuikTrip has mastered the art of Gas Stations I wonder why we don’t see any car washes, i know the maintenance is high when they get older but I think strategically placed they could be very profitable. Keep up the good work QuikTrip. When I take out of town visitors who have no idea what QuikTrip’s are they are amazed and want one in their hometown. I do like the fact they have not gone public or sold Franchises, really keeping integrity up inside of a tightly ran company. No complaints from me, just a suggestion of a car wash.

Even among QT locations(which, generally speaking, are pretty nice places to stop in for gas and a quick bite), this one stands out as an exceptional outpost with its QT Kitchen food station, clean bathrooms and bright lighting all around. 1) The intersection of Choteau-Manchester-Vandeventer near the recently re-opened I-64 ramp is a developer’s dream. Thankfully, the QT lot is spacious enough to actually handle the traffic. 2) EMTs and police like to stop off here and it’s trafficked throughout the day and night. If you’re hesitant about stopping in the City(…for some reason…), this QT does all it can to calm that fear. 3) As far as gas prices go, this station is usually at the lower end of the spectrum. To be fair, the Philips 66 a block away also is typically a little bit under the going rate for the City. 4) Kiosks for ordering from QT Kitchen are located on either side of the«kitchen» itself. The staffer might ask that you order via the kiosk, even if they aren’t currently doing anything else… it’s just part of the process. Although calling them«fresh baked» might not be accurate, the pretzels(with seasonings and dipping sauces available) are surprisingly good.

I love a good gas station. Don’t we all? My years spent working in gas stations gave me an even deeper appreciation for clean, well-stocked, and cheerfully-staffed stations. My primary reason for loving QT is probably their soda fountain. While fountain sodas at many gas stations are an afterthought, here it is practically an art. Sturdy cups with lids of different colors for different sizes(more important than you realize), the choice between crushed or cubed ice(yes, you heard that correctly, CRUSHEDICE), and a selection of soda varieties that would make Michael Bloomberg weep. Not only that, they even have free soda flavorings, like cherry, which make this soda machine a prehistoric version of a Freestyle machine. The rest of the store is well-stocked and brimming with overpriced convenience foods. The staff here are like the Navy Seals of gas station workers. I am not exaggerating. They all have perfect haircuts and tucked-in shirts and are smiling and moving fast enough to make you feel like they care. They can obliterate a line of customers in a single bound. And they actually try to up-sell you and tell you to have a good day and shit. As Jessica C. mentions, this place did not take advantage of their giant lot and give us a car wash, which has been mercilessly ripped away from us by the greedy future slumlords that are converting the Gas House lot into apartments for more SLU trust-fund babies, but QT compensates by being awesome on every other level. And, as Jessica C. points out, extremely cheap gas. Okay, well extremely cheaper gas. My car is filthy. And filled with empty big gulp cups.

Although I’m still in mourning over the tragic demise of Gas House up the street, I am really liking this QT. It’s brand new, huge, fully stocked and well staffed. Best of all, it has some of the lowest gas prices in the City. If only they had salvaged the Gas House car wash and put it around back. Then this would be the undisputed champion of StL City gas stations.
