I went here last April, so I’m a little fuzzy on a few details – like my pedicurist’s name(Karen?) I spent a lot of time checking reviews on places near my home and finally took a chance on this one, since it was within a reasonable driving distance and the price seemed acceptable. I chose the«spa» pedicure and was told over the phone by the receptionist that it would be $ 40, and that it would take about forty-five minutes. When I arrived around 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon, the place was almost empty except for one or two hair customers. There was a receptionist, a stylist, and a customer hanging out in front and they were the types who stare at you unblinkingly while you walk up and announce your business there. I thought the décor was fine – the room was large and brightly lit in the salon area, and the floors were shiny and clean. I didn’t have to wait long before my pedicurist came up and got started. This was only my second pedicure ever, so I don’t have much to compare it to. The lady was friendly, if a little too talkative(I am on the quiet side) and seemed competent. There was not the wide selection of colors I was hoping for – I had been thinking something fun like orange or green, but the choices were every variation on red and pink possible, a few electric blues, and some metallic shades. My pedicurist(I’ll call her Karen for convenience) was not as informative as I was hoping: my other pedicurist had had many tips about keeping my nails in good shape, but here I had a few questions that Karen couldn’t answer. Nevertheless, if this were a review on just the pedicure itself, I would be giving at least four stars – although it took twice as long as I had been told it would. If I hadn’t been running out of time with the kids’ babysitter, the extra time would actually have been a perk. The missing stars are for the somewhat impersonal feel of the place, since Karen just kind of turned off once my pedicure was over and she had escorted me to the front desk to pay. Gone was the small talk, and she barely gave me a glance once I was out of her chair. Far worse, however, was that I was charged $ 5 more than I had been told over the phone. When I asked why, I was told that some pedicurists cost more than others, and that I should have been told that the price would be «at least» $ 40. No acceptance of responsibility and no contrition. Now, an extra $ 5 is not exactly going to break the bank, but being upfront and fully informative matters. It was a bit of a letdown, since I had saved up and waited so long for this luxurious experience. That said, the polish lasted well for over two weeks. Since service and attitude mean the most to me, however, I will probably not be back.

I was nervous about coming here considering my horrible experience at Salon Edge. But once I walked in I was relieved. The place is super cute, clean, busy(a good sign), and the lady at the front desk was just wonderful as ever. My son came w/me and he even liked it. He of course loved the big couches in the sitting area. Sarah, who I had the appointment w/for a pedi and mani introduced her self and walked me to the back and also invited my son to come on back. Got my little toes done first and then my hands. My whole experience there was just relaxing, laid back, and comfortable. I will for sure go back there. Sarah is a great gal I would ask for her if you’re thinking of giving this place a try. She listens and will not put any pressure on you she will make sure you’re happy with the service before you walk out of that door. My 8 year old never once complained about being there for two hours! I’m amazed. Kudos to Groupon yet again for helping me find a place I wouldn’t have on my own! P. S. I went in on 7⁄25 and four days later they look the same as they did when I got them done.

I had a Groupon for a manicure and spa pedicure and was worried that they were going to be rude about it like I’d seen from the Groupon comments section. Fortunately, that was not the case at all. The receptionist and nail tech were both very friendly if a bit too casual. They were wearing jeans which is not a big deal, but I thought it was kind of tacky that they were discussing ordering lunch and then had a pizza delivered while I was there. I have no idea what the difference is between their spa and regular pedicures. The nail tech put a bunch of lotion on my feet and then wrapped them in towels. Maybe that was a «spa» service. She did a serviceable job. I keep my nails super-short and unpolished so the manicure didn’t consist of much, but she suggested buffing them to a shine, which did make them look nice.

The worst pedicure and manicure I have ever had. First off, the massage chair was broken. Bad start. The massage they gave during the pedicure was very painful and after it was all over, they sprayed bleach in the soaking tub while I was still in. Not a huge deal, but the chemical smell was pretty overwhelming. The manicure was very minimal, basically just poorly applied nail polish. And to top it off, it was $ 60. Don’t go to this spa.

The only service I’ve had here is a Spa Mani-pedi — from Jess. Most importantly, the manicure stayed intact longer than any other manicure I’ve ever had… the same said for the pedicure which, after 3 wks, still looks fabulous. The stylist that gave me the mani-pedi mainly focuses on hair, but if you’re going for this service, request Jess! She is charming, skilled, and funny – the time will pass quickly. Since there are only a few employees that work on nails: phone ahead for appt. you may be looking at 1 – 2 wks out for an optimal day & time. Enjoy

The spa pedicure was AWESOME. 5 stars for it. The manicure was about 2 stars– chipped off immediately. The pedicure was one of the best I’ve ever had. The did a lot to my feet and they felt wonderful. The polish stayed too. The nail techs were friendly and efficient. The salon is very clean and HUGE. Nicely decorated. Was a little cold. The front desk lady was a little cold, too, and I’m not talking about temperature! I’d go back for a pedicure for sure, but not a manicure or anything else most likely.
