While this is only open 9 months out of the year(closed Jan through March) when the boat tours are closed, we found it to be a great place to eat. It is offshore on the dock where you board the riverboats. If they were serving bland concessions like foods in the past, that wasn’t the case this year. We enjoyed the tuna salad sandwich, and excellent fried shrimp wrap with a cayenne flour tortilla with excellent fries, onion rings and washed it down with a glass, or rather a cup of grocery store grade White Zinfandel. It was obvious that the fry oil was very fresh as the quality of the sides can’t be beat and everything was exceptionally fresh. Fair prices and a view of the arch and city that just can’t be beat. There’s no where else to eat on the shore with this great of a view. I’m tempted to give it 5 stars just for the view alone, yet it is upscale concessions food. Service was nice and friendly and the covered outdoor dining area was super clean.

Absolutely freaking miserable. This is bad school ballpark food and you have to really hike to get your pathetic boiled hot dog. Outside and kid infested picnic table seating only. Not for anyone who wants anything other than a bad experience with a side order of potential toxemia.

This is the café that is down by the Gateway Arch Riverboats. In years past the food as been pretty meh, but they have really stepped it up this year. The Beef Brisket, maybe the best I’ve ever had and it comes on a pretzel bun with Dijon mustard. Didn’t think I’d enjoy the mustard with beef brisket but is pretty good. The Beef Brisket came with potato salad(mustard base) and cole slaw all for 5 bucks. The catfish and shrimp baskets are good as well. The BBQ on the weekends is some of the best around as well.
