Went on the brewery tour last night and had a great time! This is a craft beer lover’s dream! We stopped at Urban Chestnut, Heavy Riff, Earthbound, and 4 Hands. We sampled delicious beers at each place. I normally drink wheats and whites but have branched out into different types of ales. I learned for the first time that I love coffee stout. It is a MUST try at Urban Chestnut, and Heavy Riff’s Vanilla Coffee Underbrown is one of the best beers I’ve ever tried. Heavy Riff also serves bbq sandwiches, which you’ll probably need at that point in the tour. Try the black wit at Earthbound. By the time we got to 4 Hands, I was drunk, but I really really enjoyed Absence of Light, a chocolate peanut butter stout. Wow! The best part of the tour? Our driver, Casey. She was personable and funny. We had a great time with her at the helm! Definitely worth the $ 35, but it’s likely you’ll spend more trying more beers.
