Beef carpaccio and lobster bisque were absolutely delicious. Service was wonderful and attentive. Beautiful restaurant. Very clean bathroom.

Pork chops rock, roasted chicken is amazing, potatoes Brio is amazing. Wish they still had the caramelized cheesecake with the crunchy top. So good! We love coming here! We celebrate our anniversary every year with you guys!

Had a great time at Brio with some coworkers last week and just wanted to say how yummy the food was! I had the pasta alla vodka and it was cooked perfectly. The staff was really nice as well. We will be back soon to do it again ASAP.

I have never heard of an Italian restaurant that doesn’t have plain fettuccine on the menu. From my remembrance of the menu, most of the items on the menu by default were swimming in pork or other meat. However, the waiter did say they could make plain Ok… the good and bad, this is definitely a place you go for the ambience and not to be full. While the fettucine was some good stuff, I was still hungry and for over $ 15 it’s a place I probably wouldn’t go back to. I will say; the décor of the place is nice, the staff was pleasant and my family had a good time for my uncle’s birthday.

This classic Italian chain restaurant is found in many cities but the one located by Frontenac Mall is my absolute favorite. The interior is gorgeous with large floral arrangements, intricate designs on the high ceilings, lavish drapes, and marble detailing. It has a very warm Tuscan feel to it. The food is amazing too. I usually order either the fra diavlo pasta which is penne pasta mixed in with spicy red and white sauce or the grilled salmon which is served with sweet potatoes and a balsamic glaze. The mushroom ravioli is excellent too and for dessert try the moist lava cake served with vanilla bean ice-cream! Service is great but sometimes the wait to be seated can be long, especially on the weekends. However, the wait is so worth it. All their food is delicious and of high quality, and their proportions are large and filling. Come here after a long day of shopping for some yummy Italian comfort food; you won’t be disappointed!

Today at Brio Tuscan Grille I felt lunch was just so-so. We always come here before we go to the cinema at Plaza Frontenac and for some reason I just felt that Brio did not live up to my expectations. They have a large bar so of course we sat there. There is a selection on the menu that is 650 calories or less. I did not choose from that. I ordered the shrimp and crab cakes, and Majordomo order chicken under the brick. We did not have to wait that long for our lunch to appear. Both dishes were served with mixed vegetables and Major’s came with mashed potatoes. His chicken was tasty along with his sides. My cakes were tasty also but I did not care for the vegetable medley. There were also a few potato slices mixed in with the veggies. Since everything was tasty, but nothing really blew me away like last time, I have to take away one star. Would I come back here? Yes, of course. They have a very large menu.

I usually steer clear of the chain restaurants(since there are so many other good restaurants here in STL), but eating at Brio was a good choice. I’ve had brunch, lunch, and dinner here and all were fantastic. It was also pretty easy to get last minute reservations. The mushroom ravioli was delicious… I’d definitely get it again!

We dined here last night after a movie at Frontenac. We arrived about 9:15p. I had a sausage tomato pasta that was good, but a bit over-salted. My friend had a ‘chicken under a brick’ dish that was incredibly over-salted. So much so I wondered if they were trying to hide something, other than the lack of flavor. That was a $ 20 entrée — chicken and mashed potatoes. She also ordered a diet coke that came completely flat. She sent it back and that too was completely flat. The server doesn’t have to try it, but should have noticed not a single bubble in the glass. These were little things that add up to a mediocre meal, but what was really disappointing was how clear they made it we needed to leave by 10p, their closing time. First, before 10p, they began putting chairs upside down on tables all around us. Classy! Then, just after 10p, while there were about 3 other tables of customers in the restaurant, they turned on the lights. And I mean, all the lights! It was like a basketball court in there! Message received, you want us out immediately. You should have seen all the other tables get up at once, like the fire alarm had been pulled. But we couldn’t leave because we were waiting on the check. Needless to say, dessert or coffee was not even offered. Another 5 – 10 minutes we waited for the credit card to be run and returned. So by 10:20 we were walking out the door, but I decided to take a photo of the lit up dining room. Not exactly the inviting Tuscan ambiance you’d expect for a $ 70 meal. Next time we’ll just go to Brick Tops next door.

Brio exceeded my expectations and needs during a very last minute reservation. I was able to schedule a lunch for 15 people a week and a half before christmas for my department. They got us scheduled and in with no hitch. The service was phenomenal, they knew to accommodate everyones needs They brought the food out very quickly and addressed any concerns people had. The food was delicious and everyone seemed to like it. Its hard to make everyone happy but I do think everyone was happy with the service and the food. They were not pushy to rush us out and allowed us to hang after dessert. I would keep Brio in mind when you need to schedule a dinner party very last minute. For that alone I give them 5 stars. They came to my rescue and once again the department lunch was a success.

I had lamb chops, which were good, but not amazing. They came with instant mashed potatoes and unseasoned, blanched asparagus. Someone else at my table had a pesto pasta dish, which was served in a bowl with excess water standing in the bottom. Apparently, the pasta wasn’t well-drained. It was also over-cooked. The food was not what I was expecting for the price. I can think of much better meals I’ve had for thirty dollars. I don’t understand the rave reviews. On the other hand, the raspberry mojito was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the server seemed annoyed and was rushing us through our meal, so I only ordered one. The restaurant is large and open, so it gets quite noisy.

Family holiday party… and it’s quite loud inside… so we lucked out and they changed our reservation from a table of 12 inside to the patio area(it was 60 degrees and they had heaters). Very pleasant evening! Service was excellent, especially considering how crowded they were. Drinks kept coming, as did their scrumptious appetizers. My Fav is the calamari with the marinara and aioli dipping sauces. Will be back, despite the noise level, the food and service is always worth coming back for.

Yesterday was my first time visit at the Brio with my wife and my 3 years old daughter. I was surprised to see how busy it was on a Tuesday night. The menu was simple. Me and my wife both tried the lobster soup and it was delicious. For the main I had sweet potato and chicken rissoto. The rissoto was full of vegetables and I personally dont like vegetables in my rissoto but the rissoto itself was very delicious. My wife also enjoyed her shrimp crusted salmon. overall its a nice place with some good food.

First things first, Brio is a beautiful restaurant with it’s nice marble accents, draped fabric, and large floral arrangements. It is spacious, lavish, and has a nice patio. Their entrees are decent but they have an awesome happy hour! Anytime i can get a good buzz and get full for under $ 20, it’s a win! They have large, tasty appetizers and cocktails apart of the happy hour that start at $ 4. The burger is good, flatbreads, and shrimp are good. Remember, it’s only available in the bar area and patio. Some of the dishes are kind of salty but they still taste great.

Everything was absolutely as it always is when we dine @ Brio’s. From the reception desk to our waiter(Justin) manager’s(Shy) & other manager’s, whose names I don’t know, were amazing! The food too came to our table in a very timely manner & was DELICIOUS! We loved our experience! Thank you as always, Lilo Cooper

I had a date and he suggested Brio. We wanted to sit outside for dinner and we both wanted wine. Goal achieved. It was alittle bit of a wait for a table, so we grabbed a nice glass of wine at the bar. Our bartender Bailey, was very knowledge and quick to serve us. I had the Moscato he had the Red Zinfandel, both excellent choices, because we had more than one glass each. Once we were seated on the patio, our server Seth was quick to greet us with water and menus. The menu was not overwhelming, I had the chicken with faro, and vegetables. He had the shrimp with faro and vegetables. They looked like the same dish when they arrived, and sadly Seth was not sure what faro was. For those of you that don’t know, it is similar to rice. Dinner took a little longer than we thought it should, but we did have the wine and nice conversation. Next was desert, they had 5 options to pick from. We both selected the crème brulee, it was just the perfect ending to the meal.

Had a nice dinner for 10 on a Saturday evening. Service was super nice. They all were very friendly, brought lots of bread, plenty of drink refills, and quickly cleared the plates. The restaurant seemed pretty crowded too. I didn’t notice if there were people waiting but all tables seemed full. Started with the mussels. They were especially delicious and I would recommend. Sometimes they can be gritty or have an odd(not so fresh) flavor. I highly recommend and will order again. They tasted fresh, clean, and very flavorful with the seasoning. The sweet potato and chicken risotto was very tasty. Creamy and perfect texture(not crunchy like some). The chicken was tender and the entire dish was very flavorful. The dish had asparagus which is a fav. I like sweet potatoes and this added a flavor of sweetness in an otherwise savory dish. I will say there were a few bites that were a bit saltier than others. But it was still an awesome entrée. Shout out to Unilocaler Kay X as her photo inspired me to try this, I normally stick with pasta with the fear of undercooked risotto. Had the tiramisu for dessert and it was a nice ending to the meal. Strong coffee flavor, moist, not too sweet. It was a solid dessert.

This latest visit to Brio was the opposite of my last visit. Last time I liked my food and the service was bad. This time my food was ok and the service was better. I had the Pasta Brio and I was surprised to find the noodles a bit mushy and not al dente. For bearing the restaurant’s name, I thought this would be a better pasta dish. It was very one note and just didn’t really do anything for me. The service this time was decent. We sat in the bar area as opposed to the dining room last time. The bar was faster. We had to remind the server of a couple things but she had a lot going on.

It’s been forever since my last visit to Brio. Like, more than seven years ago, second date with my husband forever. My two recent visits were much more casual and much less stressful for me, as I was meeting a friend for dinner and drinks during one visit and enjoying lunch with my husband during my other visit. The restaurant itself is very elegant in a Tuscan kind of way, with warm colors and marble throughout. My friend and I decided to grab a table in the large bar area to take advantage of happy hour specials. This is really the way to go here. We shared four appetizers for our meal and each had a glass of wine all for only $ 32. There are several bar plates to choose from, all priced between $ 3.95 and $ 5.95. We decided on the following: tomato mozzarella salad, tomato margherita flatbread, crispy cheese ravioli, and black peppered shrimp with eggplant. I enjoyed each one of the apps, but my favorite were the cheese ravioli. They are made with mozzarella cheese and reminded me of a mozzarella stick /toasted ravioli crossbreed. The lunch I shared with my husband recently was equally as good. We each ordered a pasta off the lunch menu. I had the Pasta Alla Vodka(ricotta filled pasta, pancetta, garlic, basil, and a spicy tomato parmesan cream sauce) while my husband chose the Campanelle Carbonara(grilled chicken, bacon, parmesan, and sautéed spinach). Both dishes were excellent. I will indeed visit Brio again… and won’t wait so long before my next visit!

I came during thier Mon thru Fri 330 to 630 happy hour and was thoroughly satisfied with the food and service. Our waiter checked up on us a good amount. I sat outside which has heat lamps. The two of us ordered a lot and it can add up quickly but happy hours normally do when you eat and drink a lot haha. Order the fried eggplant w shrimp

My five stars are based on drinks, service, and atmosphere. I did not eat on this trip to Brio. My drink(raspberry mojito) was amazing! It could’ve been a little stronger but it was wonderful nonetheless! My group sat at the bar(which is really big!) and were greeted immediately by the bartender. He was very nice and outgoing. The cocktails were all about 8 dollars which is reasonable and they had a ton of fairly priced wine! I am very excited to go back here for a meal! It would be perfect for a girls night or for a date. Wonderful atmosphere!
