Cat’s Meow Personalized Gifts

Great selection of fun jewelry, monogram-​ready gifts, sorority trinkets, and lots and lots of sparkly holiday selections, which is my favorite time to shop there. Yes, it’s crowded, and jam-​packed and a bit overwhelming, but I do love to just walk in and go wherever my eyes take me. Just don’t bring a big tote bag in — I’ve almost knocked over a breakable or two over the years. Almost everything can be monogrammed, at no extra charge. Return policy is not the best, which makes purchasing gifts there very tricky, so I mostly just buy for myself/​my home there, unless I see something that I just know my mom or sister would like. Do wish the space was a tad larger.

I found this place on Unilocal because I was in need of some embroidery work.
Upon walking in I was astounded at the amount of merchandise they were able to stuff into this shop. I mean there was initials, bling bling stones, caps, pimp cups, travel electric toothbrushes, cards, bags, clothes, jewelry, you name in they found a place to put it in this store.
The only thing missing is good customer service, personality and pleasantries… which are the most important factors that retain my business.
I was wrapping up my personalized order with one rep and asked how long it would take to return my item when an older lady employee rudely butted in and began to talk over us stating, «A week really isn’t that long considering all the orders we have back there.» I was shocked, almost speechless because I do respect my elders. However, she was way out of line. First, she was in the middle of assisting a customer herself, then is was very inappropriate to over talk the rep assisting me, lastly, it was rude of her to interject at all!
I paid, left and made up my mind that I’d never do business here again. I’ll just take my embroidery needs elsewhere lady! Thank you very much.

Has been my go to spot for great personalized gifts for years, but recently had a bad experience with their customer service. They were unwilling to work out a solution for a defective product that was one week past the new, as of January, return policy.

Its a cute store. Lots of gift items but it is very expensive. I like the idea of monograming items but not sure I would actually purchase here. They are always busy… sometimes I feel as if I am interrupting their work. As if I’m not welcomed. The only time I go there is with family members. I don’t think anyone has bought anything yet.

Wow. Although the name is deceiving (I was hoping to find great items with cats on them) they have absolutely the largest selection of items you can have personalized!!! If it can be monogrammed, they have it! From handbags to ball caps to make your own jewelry. The store was packed too! Whereas I didn’t find what I was looking for (items with cats on them… note to self read reviews first…) it has a plethora of anything and everything that can be monogramed!

I enjoy all the neat gifts they have here. They are always pretty busy when I stop in, so it is nice to be able to walk around the store at my own pace. The gift wrapping they do, for free, is amazing!

Fun! Fun! Fun!
I needed a great gift for my sister’s engagement party and I found it here, but it was not easy. My sister is not the easiest person to buy for and I can be a little picky, so was not Wowed! by much as I looked around. Lots of cute things, but nothing that Wowed! me until I solicited an employees help. I explained the situation and off she went and I followed her to every corner of the store. She had a million ideas. We finally found the perfect gift and then we got to selecting the font for the monogram. Another dilemma! Again, she was super helpful and we discussed why I wanted a certain letter to be a certain way and again, we solved the problem. There were times I thought she wanted to kick me out, but she just stayed focused and made sure I got the perfect gift.
They have something for every occasion and more. I will be back when I need to buy the perfect gift for the perfect event: house warming, birthday, baby, graduation, etc.

Who knew that ALL of my friends and family needed gifts with their name or monogram on them? Well they really don’t, but when I drop into the Cat’s Meow I find myself creating reasons to buy people presents!
They offer gifts for all occasions for all ages, graduation, weddings, Birthdays, new home, your 5 year old just broke their arm and they won’t be able to swim the entire summer (OK, maybe that is just one of my friends!) But seriously I bought a graduation for a friend who is a little more rocker chic and a Mother’s day gift for my Mom who is a little less rocker chic.
The prices are reasonable and they include the Monogram or name weather it is painted or sewn on the gift. Everything from robes, laundry bags, plates, flip flops, baby bibs and blankets, bulletin boards, trash cans, silver jewelry, wallets and purses– I think you get the picture. Check it out!
