4 stars for being the only findable clothing store in downtown St Louis — when I came unprepared and needed a swimsuit, I grabbed one here(for a steep $ 30/swimsuit). It’s not very good quality, however, it’s supply and demand people. I have bought flip flops at CVS in times of emergency. Were they the best? No. Did they work? YES. The(owner?) person was extremely helpful. And the store is huge! So many things, and it seems like they do have some weird and interesting stuff. And for having swimsuits in September, they get a good rating. Thanks Ceci’s!

Over priced tourist trap. Only needed 2 things: 1. A bathroom(was doing the running in place bathroom dance). 2. A Rams t-shirt for my son. The lady climbed to have the first one, which I find hard to believe, especially in that side of town. As for the second, they didn’t have kId’s sizes but she tried to sell me an extra small in ladies. Uhm. Yeah. Them colors not too boy like. And!!! Prices steel outrageous for football apparel, kind after the season has ended. No thanks. Ended up finding a better deal at the airport if you can believe that. The only unique thing about this«gallery» was it’s lack of bathrooms, ugly outdated clothes and prices.

Did we just get yelled at by Ceci??? Um yes we did!!! So let’s chat! This place had some of the most bizarre looking items, I’m talking the clothing that you always wonder where in the world do you buy an outfit like that? CeCi’s of course! From the bedazzled dresses and suit coats to the random prom dresses in the back, you will find all of your fashionable desires here, if this is your thing. Please note if you are ever in need of a fancy hat, maybe a Kentucky Derby style — GOHERE! As for the random decorative items, maybe stick to Target because even I wasn’t going to be persuaded in to buying the $ 89 coasters. So I got the urge to try on some hats all was well until we hear a woman’s voice from across the room telling us «NOPICTURES!», I’m thinking what!?? Jeez lady I want to capture my memories of roaming through this store of treasures.(We did snag two photos I’ll post soon). Anyway, after being yelled at we decided to head out, but not before we took a trip through the $ 30 shoe area. Not quite sure any of the items were worth $ 30. But if you are a tourist staying downtown and wander in, I’m certain these tourists make a purchase thinking they’ve just struck gold. For us that live here and know better, I don’t think we are shopping for our standard attire at CeCi’s. This place is a good spot for snacks, beverages and maybe a key chain, but I’d stay away from the clothing. Oh one more thing, this is most definitely the kind of «YOUBREAK, YOUBUY» place, so keep the little ones out of the breakable section.

Ceci Unique Gallery is an art gallery in Union Station that sells contemporary art. They feature glass, wood, sculpture, paintings and prints that are all available for sale. The prices are higher than most mall stores but are in line or lower for the usual art gallery. The man working here is very nice, and while he offers a quick and friendly hello, he lets you walk through his gallery without interruption. The chime that goes off when you walk in is hilarious, and I can’t wait to read what other Unilocalers think of it. Right now they are featuring prints of Ken Bailey, famous for his humorous and colorful dog and cat posters.
