Cedar Creek Lodge

I lived in this apartment complex for 2 years, only because they were all I could afford at the time. I would NEVER lease an apartment at this location ever again. The property manager was disrespectful, dishonest and just all around a bad person. The residents, most decent people, but you get a lot of rif-​raff in this area. Loud music all hours, drugs, drinking, loud stomping. When you complain to the manager she says there is nothing she can do. The area is not safe, vehicle vandalism almost nightly. I was once awoken by a resident firing their gun right outside the outer door of the building.
The climate control consists of barely working and underrated window units and 30 year old space heaters.
You want honest advise about the are, just call the 3^rd precinct in St. Louis County and ask. Hell, their number is, (314) 638‑5550, I kept that in my ‘favorites’.
Bottom line, do your homework, know what you are getting into. Also, when you take a tour, REQUIRE them to show you a living unit, not their display unit. Also, if you actually decide to rent here, to a walkthrough of your intended unit BEFORE signing the lease.
NO, I would NOT recommend this place to a friend.
