Creative Audio Video and Automation

Finally I decided to write a review just to help others. I used this company for my new home construction and the project cost is approximately $ 50,000. Initially project included fiber optic cable for the TVs from the head end (as per signed contract). But what actually installed were CAT6 cable and I was not even given any indication till I noticed and asked. When I asked why I was not told there was no answer. Afterwards Kevin said there were a lot of problems with fiber optic cable which I can understand and he did that for my own good but is it not a common sense to let the homeowner know before installing something else not specified in the contract. Anyway I did not say anything. When it came to garage door automation Kevin tells me that it is not compatible with my overhead garage door and to program it costs extra. Don’t you figure that out ahead of time and it’s not the question of money in the midst of a big project like that and I could easily afford to pay much more than what he is willing to ask for but it is a customer service that totally sucks. OK next come to hiding the thermostats. Now they blame my electrician that he was not communicating well so they didn’t do it. My home is close to a 9000 square-​foot and there is only one wireless access point in addition to that router installed and it is not even covering my entire house. Whole system runs by network and poor signal everywhere.
There was a buzzing sound in all the speakers and would not come out without asking for a service call what should be part of original installation (The last one is OK since this happened one year after the installation, I can understand)
I was so pissed that I did not even want it to get any more work done with them and I switched my account to sound room. I did not even ask for one service call sound room almost spent 45 min to an hour on the phone which is very unusual for Kevin’s creative audio video company. Again this is not the money, there is no customer service. I’m still surprised that they’re still in the business.
