David’s Design Salon

Needed a new stylist in the area and this one is within walking distance of my house so decided to give them a try. Had an appointment with David and was not disappointed!!! Showed him a picture of what I wanted and instead of just glancing at it and chopping away, he took the time to really look at it and discuss what he was going to do. Also the salon itself was very nice with a relaxed feel. Very very happy with my experience and cut and will definitely be returning!!!

I’ve been coming here since I was a kid (though not too regularly till recently), but David’s great, and knows what he’s doing (and he always gets a workout with my hair, lol).he doesn’t do manis or pedis anymore, but still a good hair salon.

David’s is a great salon, and everyone I have had the pleasure of working with there has been professional, capable and creative. I love this salon. They fixed my awful at-​home color job without costing me a fortune. Great job on waxing my brows that didn’t leave me broken out for days, and wonderful people overall. What a talented crew!

I got an appointment with David, the owner, last month… I didn’t really have a hairstyle in mind per se, but I knew what I wanted my hair to do and described it to him: easy/​quick to fix, cover my hairline front and back, minimum product use, not try to make my very straight hair do what it doesn’t want to do.
David suggested cutting a few inches off into a basic bob. When I left, I was on the fence about it… liked it better the next morning after fixing it myself… liked it even more when EVERYONE at work told me how GREAT it looked. I have to say, this is probably the most perfect haircut I’ve had since moving to St. Louis over 15 years ago. It is five weeks in and still looks good! I have another appointment next week, and am looking forward to it. Highly recommend David at David’s Design Salon!
