I came across this hookah place recently and decided to try it as opposed to going with my usual hookah haunt, Nara Café on Wash ave. they have excellent shisha flavors(it appeared they use Al Fahker) and you can order a flavor with a cocktail in the bottom instead of water! We ordered the Sex on the Beach flavored shisha with a pineapple Malibu cocktail in the bottom for $ 19. It tasted great! Another nice thing they did was use 3 small coals instead of 1 large one so the bowl burned better and you got an even full taste for hours– we smoked ours for 2.5 hours! They do have a 1 drink per person minimum and third drinks are a bit pricy. Also, they do not give tap water, only bottled. We all ordered tap water and our server did not tell us this and just showed up with the bottles at $ 2.50 a pop. Overall, great hookah, service a little lacking, and I really wish I would have known about the waters when we ordered. I will likely come here again :)

Went there last night, for the first time in maybe a year. They’ve changed the place, and not for the better. The service was terrible. It took 30mins to get fresh coals, and I saw servers spending more time chatting with friends and dancing like idiots than actually waiting on tables. The hookah was terrible… whoever put ours together had no clue what they were doing. The base grommet didn’t fit and it looked ready to topple over. The pull was terrible, and we weren’t getting much smoke. The DJ apparently thinks that taking Top 40 hits from 15+ years ago and adding dub step makes him an artistic genius. It’s not 2012 anymore. Normally, I like places that stick to a more Middle Eastern vibe. From now on, I’ll go to Nara if I want a more club-like atmosphere. Even with a 30min-wait, it’s worth it.

Terrible place. Sat for 30 minutes. Everyone who came in after us got their hookah. The waiter never came to our table. I definitely won’t be going back.

I had a terrible waitress here. She was very rude and inconsiderate and she made me feel very uncomfortable. I won’t go back here if she will be working. I believe her name was Jackie. — To clarify, I’ve never had another problem here. The rest of the staff is friendly and very professional. I have always loved karaōke Mondays. This particular night was just very off because of this waitress.

The hookah was good, the coals were also good. The service was sub par, the music was way too loud and they have a «dress code». we got charged for a forth person but it was not stated on the menu nor did the server mention it. Also a gratuity was added for the four of us, that was not stated anywhere either. The hookah bars in the loop are much better.

I believe this was officially the best hookah bar in St Louis. We visited quite a few hookah bars there and by far this location had the best hookahs, best drinks, best music and best staff. Very friendly and outgoing location! Thank you guys!

I’ll give it 2 stars to be nice, but in reality this place was terrible. When we walked in we sat in the«reserved area» aka, the ripped torn up couches. We didn’t know that this was the reserved area, as there was no sign. Our waitress finally took our order. Once we got our hookah and our mandatory drinks(no matter what you HAVE to order some type of beverage, as this is how they«generate revenue») she only checked on us once. It took her 20 minutes to get us our check, and this was AFTER someone went to the bar to request it again. Not to mention everything is an «extra $ 3» The table we say at was DISGUSTING. The paint was chipping off, and sticky with God only knows what. The bathroom… Whoa. The under part of the sink was covered with a ghetto«sheet» type thing, and the knob was missing on the hot water. They did however have an Eco friendly toilet. Needless to say if you’re into dirty places with terrible service, this place is for you!

Honestly, this plays blows. It’s $ 15-$ 18 a bowl, plus you must buy a drink. You can only buy bottled water and they are so cheap it’s $ 1 a refill for soda. The hookahs also are terrible, one of the hookah’s was actually leaning to the side about to break. Plus both hookahs we got must have had an air leak or something cuz we were getting waaaay too much air

1st visit this past week, a Thursday night. Not too crowded. Since it’s near SLU, it was riddled with groups of students, some actually doing homework. The DJ on staff this eve was great. Head bobbing the whole time. I thought the price of the hookah was reasonable. I’d like to try one of the fruit heads some time. My friend ordered the chicken empanadas for a snack, they were VERY good! For $ 7.50, you get an order of 2 huge empanadas. I thought the taste was great and right size for the price. Will visit again.

For my first time here I thought it was great! Normally I go to puzzles but I will for sure be back here! The hookah flavors are great and the atmosphere is just so much fun! it was crowded but our waitress always checked up on us. We split a fish bowl 4 ways and it was so worth it! Overall I would say 4 stars!

Decent prices, good food, nice atmosphere. However, the service was HORRIBLE, and the place was filthy. I went here with a group on a birthday reservation. We’d reserved the couch area up front and started arriving 20 minutes early, but our reserved area was«unavailable due to a mix-up» and was given to others who arrived about 1.5 hours LATER, to some«broskis» of the DJ(as was reported over the mic).(let that sink in – the couches we reserved were STILL available when we arrived, but they – up to and including the manager – still said, «no, sorry, we screwed up»). Anyway, our party trickled in a few people at a time, and I was the third to arrive. All of the tables I went to sit at were FILTHY, and covered in some sticky, crunchy film that had been wiped back and forth over each table as if that were part of how each table was«cleaned.» Streaks(like on a freshly washed window) are one thing – no biggie. But this stuff was oily, crunchy, and sticky(as I found out when I sat my wallet down initially only for it to stick to the table as I went to pick it up). Ew. Fast forward to the rest of the party arriving, and we start ordering. Our waitress was garbage. We were there for about 3.5 hours and she came to our table maybe 5 times; at one point, another waitress came over and picked up her slack, as we were all sitting with drinks needing refills and plates needing to be cleaned up that were stacked at the edge of a table. She screwed up one drink order, too. She came back to our table at roughly 8:45(note:reservation was for 8pm) and finally took the hookah order. None of our hookahs showed up until after 9:45pm, and we watched other parties get service and receive their hookahs within minutes. I was actually surprised at the end of the night when she was able to successfully bring us our checks within 20 minutes. Side note: they have a «dress code,» but their own employees can’t even follow it! Employees were wearing hats. Not that I care, but apparently they do, so what gives? And furthermore, what reputable manager would allow employees to clock in wearing yoga pants/capris with sparkles on the ass(my waitress), wife beaters, and saggy jeans? And wear hats on the job? C’mon now. It was empty and quiet when we showed up(7:45pm-8:20pm), but was packed by 10pm and very loud.

I don’t write a lot of reviews but I think this place deserves one after many crappy experiences at hookah places in STL. the good: the hookah is awesome. strong and they have many awesome flavors. our coals lasted forever. I also love the service in this place is organized and servers know what tables they have UNLIKE other hookah establishments. she brought the drinks we asked for and our hookahs were brought minutes after ordering, not half an hour. the eh: 10 dollar cover charge for those under 21 and there’s a «one drink minimum» I really just wanted water but she seemed a little reluctant so I got a soda and kept the peace.

I’ve been here a few times with a group, and the waitress was extremely nice until it was time to pay. She claimed that someone in the group had not paid although each of us had either a receipt or the change she had given us. She insisted that someone hadn’t paid until I finally paid the«unpaid» ticket and we left.

I come here every Monday for the great karaōke. The hookah is fairly priced and the drinks are strong. On non-karaōke nights, I don’t have as much fun, but it is still a good place to relax and catch up with friends. I don’t know any other place where I can smoke hookah, drink inexpensively, and sing my heart out.

I’ve been to a few local hookah bars in St. Louis, but this easily tops them all. I tried the watermelon(personal favorite) and New York, both were delicious flavors. Awesome music, they have a DJ on some nights, as well as karaōke. Wonderful upkeep, excellent service, this is the première hookah spot in STL.
