Enchanted Bride

First off, I know that walking into a bridal store without an appointment is sometimes inconvenient. That being said, that does not excuse completely ignoring what I was looking for, and then telling me that I was going to have a hard time finding dresses in my size to try on. Thanks, but I had just come from another store that pulled as many dresses as I wanted to try on. Plus, they actually listened to what I liked, they’re dresses weren’t matronly, and they didn’t try to get me to buy something that I absolutely did not like. I’m sorry, but I don’t really care how many times you tell me the dress looks beautiful on me, I’m not going to buy it if I don’t like it.

I was so lucky to have found this wonderful bridal boutique. I had went to several bridal shops around Chicago and could not find the wedding dress that fit my vision. I called Enchanted bride for an appointment and Shannon asked me a couple questions about what I liked on the phone. She had several dresses picked out when I got there and the second dress I tried on was the one! It was beautiful and i did not want to take it off. My dress needed some alterations to transform it into my dream dress but I was not worried because they have the most talented seamstresses here.
Shannon and Winnie are absolutely amazing people to work with who genuinely care so much and want to help in any way they can. The ladies at this store are so sweet, very professional, very knowledgeable and will work so hard to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your dress. I loved making the trip from Chicago to St. Louis for my fittings. Winnie worked so hard to make my dress perfect and I was blown away by her talent and genuine kindness. I cannot thank Enchanted Bride enough for helping me find and create my dream dress and all the attention and care they showed my family and I. i wore my dress all day and all night and never wanted to take it off. If you are looking for a wedding dress, please take the time to visit this wonderful boutique. Enchanted Bride gave me a truly unique and wonderful experience that you will not find at other bridal shops. You would be lucky to find your dress here and have the chance to work with the wonderful staff at Enchanted Bride.

A little over a year before my wedding a co-​worker and I were out to lunch and as we passed The Enchanted Bride she asked if I wanted to go in and look around, maybe try on some dresses. At first I was apprehensive because I know many bridal shops do not like when someone stops to try on a dress without an appointment; but not at The Enchanted Bride. They welcomed me in the store and told me to look around and grab anything I would like to try on.
Luckily for me, I found «The Dress» that day, they put it on hold for me (it was the floor sample which fit almost perfectly) for the next couple days until my mom and I could get there to buy it.
Since it was still over a year until my wedding, they stored the dress for me and when it was time to start the fittings they contacted me to remind me (which is great when you’re super busy and in wedding planning mode). They were always very receptive to what we said durning the fittlings and and did a wonderful job with alterations and suggested making the dress poofier to fit my princess-​like vision.
Before I went to pick up the dress, Winnie (the store owner) has cleaned it as promised and went over the beading and sewed any loose beads by hand. When I picked up the dress it was more than perfect and it fit so perfectly I didn’t want to take it off after my wedding!
Winnie and the staff made me feel so comfortable through the whole process. I cannot recommend this store enough, they get 5 stars from my mother and myself! I just wish there were other events I could wear wedding dresses to so I could go shop with them again!

We had nothing but the best experience with Enchanted Bride. We looked and shopped at several other bridal shops, but found nothing to compare to the quality, price, or attention that we found at The Enchanted Bride. We have had 2 daughters get married and both times the staff at Enchanted Bride was helpful, caring and professional. Both of my daughters’ weddings were made special by the service and care that we received from this amazing store. The wedding gowns were absolutely gorgeous and both girls wish they could «live» in their dresses! We also purchased the bridesmaids dresses from The Enchanted Bride and they, too, turned out fabulous! We recommend this wonderful bridal store to all of our family and friends. In fact, two of our nieces chose to purchase their wedding gowns at The Enchanted Bride and were extremely happy that they did so! I think their tailoring is outstanding and the seamstresses are miracle workers!!! It is rare to find a store these days where the staff — and the owner — are genuinely concerned and make every effort to help make your special day the beautiful memory of your dreams! Winnie is a blessing to every bride-​to-​be who walks into her store!

Made an appointment to try on dresses, and were the only appointment so that was nice. I brought in 2 pictures and then the 2 ladies that workers pulled all the dresses they liked for me, i didn’t really feel like they were concerned with what I thought about the options. When I found one I wanted to try, the lady told me that it wasn’t similar to my pictures and still gave me a look when I said I would still like to try it on.
They DO NOT allow picture taking which was a huge downfall for me! How was I supposed to show people and get their opinions and they wouldn’t give the designers of the dresses cause they were exclusive to this store and didn’t want people getting copy dresses made.
The Lady that helped me, Denise, was helpful but the other lady that owned the store was a little pushy. They kept mentioning a 40% of sale but I had to buy it next week or I wouldn’t get the special, even though I kept telling them I wasn’t ready to buy.

The ladies at Enchanted Bride were *amazing* to work with during my sister’s dress alterations earlier this year. We had a death in the family during the wedding planning, and they were very sensitive to our situation, which made everything easier. The store itself is very comfortable and welcoming, as are Beth and the ladies.
The dress work was stellar… could not have asked for more. AND they can provide cleaning and preservation after the wedding for the dress.
I highly recommend them!

Enchanted Bride is super close to my work. I dropped by without appointment on a weekday evening. The shop was fairly small, but empty on this evening. You could browse through the selections quickly. The service was impeccable. The lady helping me was very friendly and tiredless-​ly helped me get in and out of at least 8 dresses that I pulled out. Some things to note: they don’t let you take photos. This is pretty common in boutiques, something to do with agreements with the designers. Personally, I find it hard to not have pictures to compare with other dresses that I’ve tried on, but this is nothing against the shop itself. The price point is mid-​high range for wedding dress, starting at just below $ 1K to a few grand.
After that day, I received two hand-​written notes from the shop reminding me to stop by anytime if I haven’t found anything. In the end, I found my dress elsewhere, but I do recommend Enchanted Bride for other ladies still shopping.
