This location has always done me well. I go monthly, and have been for more than three years. I have never witnessed dust like people have talked about.

Open Sunday, but with only two stylists you will wait 40 plus minutes for a simple haircut. One stylist just checked in people all day so she was no help – why do they do it that way? The trashiest weirdest people come to this location, I recommend going somewhere else.

Open on Sunday’s which is nice. But Unilocal should not list this place as a barber shop. Definitely a beauty salon. I cannot vouch for lady cuts, but save yourself a botched fade fellas.

I have always got a decent haircut from this place. I usually go in the mornings so I never have to wait long, if at all, for a stylist. I just go for a simple cut so I can’t comment much on the skills here. One nice thing about Fantastic Sams is that they wash my hair after cutting it. There are also always coupons for $ 9.95 men’s haircuts on their website. You don’t need to print them off, just show them the coupon on the phone.

I don’t normally go to Fantastic Sams but was in the area so I thought I would give them a shot and never again. I had time to look around while in the chair getting my hair cut and was just shocked at the distinct lack of cleanliness. The floor was dirty and the stylists never swept up in between cuttings like most places do so I got to witness 1 stylist picking gobs of hair out of her shoes. There were dirty towels all over the place. The shelves in the entire place that display products needed a very thorough dusting since the layer of dust was evident from across the room. I got to listen to the stylists talk about how overworked and short staffed they are and how they come into work even when very sick. Do you really want a sick stylist leaning over you? The lady working right near by was in fact sick and have they ever considered that there are people who don’t really want to go for a haircut and be exposed to germs, who might have weakened immune systems all because enough staff isn’t hired although maybe they would go in anyway since they were proud of the fact that they do. But for that I blame management. I didn’t see them clean the brushes and combs or scissors in between clients and I sure hope that they did but the lack of cleaning they did in all other visible areas makes me wonder. I would venture to guess that there are minimum health standards and if there are they are just not following them at all.
