One of the most beautiful studios I’ve been to. I love the exposed brick walls and cleanliness of the studio. It’s a welcoming space with knowledgeable and fun instructors. A must try class is BUTI yoga(a yoga like no other; it’s a soulful blend of power yoga, cardio-intensive tribal dance, conditioning and deep abdominal toning). BUTI yoga is a «I am woman, hear me roar.» type of class. I LOVEIT! Both BUTI yoga instructors, Amy and Holly, are amazing! They’ll get you moving, sweating, and smiling. I’ve also taken ELDOA with Liam and Eric. It’s a technical class that focuses on specific postures to strengthen your spine and joints.(Check out the site for a more detailed description of this class.) It has made me more aware of my spine and posture. The benefits of this class carries on to my yoga practice. If you like dancing, Flex Studio also offers various options for adult dance. Some tips for those not familiar with the area: Parking — There’s a free parking lot behind Commerce Bank. There’s also metered parking on Grand Ave and free parking on the side streets if you can find a spot. I usually park in the free lot, with the exception of early mornings when the streets are pretty much empty. Equipment– Mats and other yoga props are available for you to borrow or you can just bring your own. Amenities– Flex Studio has a drinking fountain, a couple of changing rooms, lockers, and a bathroom.

Great space for yoga. Conventionally located above the City Diner. I love Maury’s Sunday morning class. Perfect way to start my morning. Get your day started in a gentle but energizing class. Pay what you can.

Flex Studio is a beautiful space with dozens of alternative options for adult dance and fitness classes. This is not your run-of-the-mill, boring group exercise spot like your local gym. Flex creates a unique and welcoming environment for folks interested in getting their groove on and getting variety. I would recommend trying as many classes as you can until you find the ones that speak to you! Each class has a different teacher, different vibe, different objective. Some teachers even let you sample your first class for free, making it easier to find what you want to stick with. I would recommend Flex to anyone!
