AVOID THIS PLACE!!!
Frontenac Cleaners is the worst dry cleaner I have ever visited. They DESTROYED a $ 350 dress of my wife’s and refused to take any responsibility. Mark, the owner, was a complete jerk and called her a liar. My wife is 5 months pregnant and was in tears after the way he berated her.
Mark is a complete scumbag.

This place used to do a really good job and has a really friendly staff. By the 4^th or 5^th time I came in they already knew my name and the number on my «account». I’ve been using them for a long time, probably 5 years, and today I think I finally have had it. About two years ago my favorite dress went missing. I called and called. I finally got it back 8 months later. They said they found it in an old unused bad. Right. Last year my favorite jacket went missing. I’ve never found something to replace it and they never offered compensation for it. Three weeks ago I picked up a nice raincoat and never removed it from the dry cleaning bag because it has been so warm I was hoping to store it for the winter. But today I opened it and the belt is missing. I’ve called and they said they would look for it. The manager was very nice (as he has always been) and he asked for some time to look for both items (I mentioned the old jacket) and said he would call me back by tomorrow. I really hate posting such a bad review for such nice staff but I’ve had it with all my stuff going missing. Even if they find it I will no longer go to them with my cleaning. I’ve moved further away and the drive isn’t worth it.
I am downgrading my review now to 1 star. I have yet to hear back from them about my missing items. Futhermore, I took a closer look at the raincoat and the nice leather buckles are ruined. They look as if they have been soaking for days in water. All the edges are frayed and the leather went from a dark brown to a light muddy color. Its a nice $ 200 raincoat. This should not have happened if this place knew what they were doing. I am wondering if the same thing didn’t happen to the buckle on the belt and they just tossed it hoping I wouldn’t notice the missing belt. I would post a picture of the damage if I could… DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANER!
