Gateway Electronics is an amazingly clean and warm electronics shop. I’m not used to this.
They have a good selection of wire/​cable. They have an OK selection of random components that you may need (but pretty much nothing surface mount). They have various kits available. And they have an OK selection of surplus equipment. Lots of fixed voltage power supplies along with a lot of random stuff. Prices were a tad on the high side but not offensively so.
The guy working the counter was very friendly and was helpful to those in the shop.
Definitely the best source I know of in the STL area for electronics stuff.

Great place for getting Electrical components for a project or repair of something electronic.
I have been going to this place for longer than I can remember, They used to have a different location but this one is better and bigger.
I am impressed with the selection and knowledge that the guy that runs it has.
I usually go here now for Capacitors to fix our LCD monitors that won’t turn on anymore. It is hit or niss as to weather they will have the caps I need but now I call ahead and check.
