Great Wall

This establishment severely lacks the necessary payment options and hospitality to regain my business! When I first started ordering from Great Wall the food was fresh, hot, and delicious and nearly payment option was accepted. They’re customer service was excellent and beyond compare, but in recent year they have become rude and it seems that despite having sufficient funds to cover my order and no matter which card I give them it’s always denied. I even confronted the employee about it and she rudely stated that its my problem and my fault because I am the only customer that they have a problem with. The last few times I’ve had cash and ordered online from them I waited for over an hour and then had to call to ask where my order was. Despite giving them my order confirmation number and everything to varify that I had indeed place an online order the associate rudely exclaimed, «sorry you no make order!» Understanding that its possible that system issues could be to blame I agreed to place my order over the phone and had to wait yet again nearly another hour before my food arrived and it was not fresh! It had tasted absolutely aweful! So my lesson learned avoid Great Wall at all cost! This place is not worth your time, money, or fustration!

For take out Chinese this place is great. The food is always awesome and the prices are fair. Our old Chinese place got sold and so we moved to this place and we like it so much better. The delivery guy is always so friendly and every once in a while they throw in a free soda or desert with our order. We don’t venture out on the menu too much so I’m not sure about the whole menu but as far as the usual fried rice, beef & broc, or the general Taos and crab Rangoon the food is great.

I just don’t have much luck with places that deliver. Sometimes, I feel deliveries are a good fast way for restaurants to get rid of food that’s been sitting for a long time. Great Wall’s 1^st delivery some time ago was quite good. It’s been downhill every since. Knowing their beef is tough and filled with gristle, I went with 3 chicken dishes. % wings, chicken fried rice and chicken and broccoli, the last one being the best. The 5 wings, which just 4 were eatable, were way overcooked. Very tough and the breading made the 5^th one laughable. It was hard breading on a stick. The fried rice was not freshly made. Egg rolls were nice, tho. The fact it took just 15 minutes for my order to arrive at my door told me this food could not have been made fresh. Surprised and disappointed the quality here has sunk so low.

The hot and spicy chicken is terrible steer clear. I ordered online and I had a total of $ 21.20 when it was delivered the tots was $ 23.23. I don’t except credit card fraud as expectable business.

Not very good. My co-​worker said it’s great for the price. No — it’s not that either. We went during lunch and I should’ve known since we were the only two there, one person working, and no smells of food. I tried it anyway since i was there. The lady warmed it up and we took it back to the office. Yuck! Poor quality food. My body started pulsating with flashes of heat from all the MSG. For the price I’ll go and buy a double cheeseburger or five.

Granted it’s not a 5 star Chinese restaurant, this is my go to place for take out Chinese food in South County. Their lunch specials are great for the price, and the pork fried rice is a level above any other in the area. I like Great Wall better than Lemay Garden.

I was happy to find this place and to learn you could place orders online. There ended up being small issues with the process when it came to accepting my credit card payment, but a phone call quickly fixed that. The food pretty well makes up for the technology glitch. I had Szechuan chicken big portion perfect amount of heat, and lots of vegetables. The «house special» fried rice was brilliant! Not many places offer lobster, and the inclusion was a nice surprise. Also, crab Rangoon; most carry out places over fry and under fill the wontons, these approached perfection. Then my delivery arrived quickly, and included a small gift of a wall calendar. I figure since I only live a couple minutes down the road, I will avoid spending the $ 15 minimum for delivery, but they won a loyal customer for sure

Horrible food I mean they may deliver but the food sucks hella bad, poor cuts of meet and poor vegetable quality… I mean it’s like they didn’t even use the correct spices… It’s definitely made for the ghetto clientele. if you want good Chinese go to Lemay Garden by the Dierberg’s on Lemay ferry road that place is good

They put too much onions. I’m paying $ 10+ for each entrée so I can eat more meat, not more onions

The food was excellent and flavorful, the service was helpful and sweet! Bravo Great Wall!

Ordering online has never been easier. Web based ordering system is a little arcaic however it is simple. Just remember to let them know if you want an egg roll or rangoon if you are ordering a lunch special.

This is the BEST Chinese chain restaurant in the South County area WITHOUT A DOUBT! It has only been around for a couple of years & in that time it has gotten better & better food wise & the staff is always nice & ready to please!
