This place has went down hill. The customer service has went downhill I went to the one at the Galleria and they treated me great. I walk into the store today with my son in the stroller and they didn’t even acknowledge me. none of the workers made eye contact with me. One did say excuse me as she walked past me. I will not go back to this store until they clean up their act with their customer service.

This is my favorite store. The staff is always super helpful, and they’re always busy, but the staff seems to corral the craziness and focuses on what you need to get you in and out of the store. I love that they’re near a mall entrance, that way I can run in and out quickly. I wish they had a frequent buyers card or something!

Must review Lush, I went today and picked up a few bath bombs because I had been impatiently waiting while they were out of stock for a week. I came in and was very kindly talked to by the sales girl, she showed me all the wonderful products they carry and also gave me a hand demo of the Turkish Delight and also Ocean Salt. Both feel phenomenal. very soft hands and very pleased at the knowledge and friendly girls who work here. I was a Lush newbie and I’m glad they helped with all my questions. I was very happy at my visit and will very likely come back after I test out the very popular bath bombs. Also got some freebies to take home and try out!

I was in the mood to treat myself to some kind of luxurious bath soap, so I checked Unilocal to see if there were any fancy soap shops in the area. In doing so, I discovered there is a Lush inside Macy’s at West County Center. I’ve been to Lush at the Galleria, but I’ve never purchased anything. I’ve mentioned in other reviews that I am extremely introverted, and the salespeople at Lush are so friendly and eager to help that they kind of scare me. Since this Lush is inside Macy’s, I was kind of hoping the salespeople would maybe just be there to ring things up for you. It was raining, so I parked in the garage near Bravo!(I’m not really excited about that, but Bravo! has an exclamation point in its name. :)) I entered Macy’s on the ground level and began my level-by-level search for Lush. After making it to the third level with still no signs of Lush, I was beginning to think I had been Punk’d. Feeling somewhat defeated, I took the escalator back down to the second level. BAM! I somehow had missed Lush; while on the escalator, I spied it hiding just behind the Clinique section. Lush sells a variety of attractively designed and packaged products for your skin and hair. Some of their most eye-catching products are their bath bombs, bubble bars, and bath melts. Check out the bath category on their website, and you’ll see what I mean. For example, they currently have a «sparkly pumpkin» bubble bar that looks like tons of fun. I don’t take baths. That probably sounds bad, but let me clarify: I take showers. ;) I was there for a bar of soap, but I was not completely set on making a purchase. If something looked good, I’d consider it. As I perused the selection, one of those friendly, helpful Lush employees approached me. Her name was either Mickey or Nicki, and if I were more extroverted I would have asked her to repeat her name. Anyway, when an employee(or anyone) begins talking to me, that’s usually the point when I start freaking out and trying to leave. But she was great. She asked me what kind of products I use, and I went into detail about how I have sensitive skin and blah, blah, blah. She also asked what kind of scents I like, and I explained that I tend to like masculine scents such as «sandoval.» I think I mentioned«sandoval» at least two or three times, and it was not until later that I realized how idiotic I must have sounded. Pablo Sandoval is a baseball player, and I suppose he might smell pretty masculine. However, I meant sandalwood. I totally meant sandalwood. Kitty had a rough day. Mickey(or Nicki) handed several soaps to me that she thought I might like. Bless her heart, I kept handing them back to her. They smelled good, but they just were not scents for me. Taking my sensitive skin and fragrance preferences into consideration, we ultimately landed upon Figs & Leaves, which contains aloe vera. I liked it. It is described on their website as «alluring orange blossom and juicy figs, with an undertone of eastern exoticism.» Fig seeds within the soap exfoliate your skin. So, I liked the scent of this one. Mickey or Nicki had spent so much time with me and had been so nice and helpful that I kind of felt obligated to buy it, regardless of the $ 14.51 price. I suppose this isn’t a place to go if you are a go-with-the-flow kind of person who has a hard time saying no. I tried the soap tonight, and it smelled even better in use. The only thing I don’t like about it is the amount of fig seeds within the soap. There are a lot of them, and they make the soap abrasive. I know abrasion and exfoliation kind of go hand in hand, but I think this soap might be a little too rough for my very delicate skin. No biggie though. I don’t plan to exfoliate every single day. All in all, I had a very good experience at this mini-Lush location. They had a good variety of products, but I’m not sure if they have as much as the Galleria location does. I’m deducting one star because they didn’t have many scents I liked, but that’s just my personal preference. Oh, and it’s totally expensive. As far as customer service goes: 5 stars! If you like Lush and want to treat yourself to something lush without going to the Galleria, take your credit card over to Macy’s. Get yourself something nice. :)

I have to admit when I found out there was a lush in Macy’s it caused me to be super happy. Why, you ask? Well because the galleria is a little a ways away from me that it’s a trek to go there when I need to stock up on some goodies! I have become such a lushie in the past few months! I adore the bath bombs, cleansers and soaps so much! The people that work there seem to be knowledgeable and are very helpful with giving demos of the products and if you ask for a sample they are more than happy to oblige!

I have now been a fan of Lush for a year(thanks to Kate B. !). The only thing I don’t like about my adventures to Lush is the drive to the Galleria location. I try to avoid crazy people/drivers as much as I can lol. I like that I don’t have to deal with that as much and it’s closer to me by about ten minutes! This may be dangerous though.. . having Lush so close at hand. As always, their customer service is top notch! I have NEVER gone to a Lush location and ended up with someone rude. They are always friendly and helpful which is part of why I keep coming back. Sure, they try to make you buy more stuff but that is their job and I’ve been in retail.. .I know that spiel. You just gotta know how to politely decline their advances. Today I bought«Full of Grace” — I can’t imagine life without this face serum. I pair it up with Cetaphil moisterizer. I also restocked on Fresh Farmacy. Again, something I can’t live without. I say this because ever since using them all in conjunction, my skin is so clear and glowing! I don’t even need makeup thanks to Lush. Another thing I bought was their henna Caca Noir. :) My mum and everyone has commented on how much they love my hair since using their henna. I have been using their Caca Rouge which is red dye. It has started to make my hair too light and less red for my tastes though. So I am going to dye it back to black. Naturally. :) They had a ton of new stuff. They have a makeup line and this bath soap that you can mold like play-doh! I just didn’t stick around long since I’m on a budget.. .

Such a dangerous place to be, on my route either from the parking lot or from the escalators. I smell or see them and feel compelled to buy something fun to make me smile. Products made by hand and are made with your health in mind.(see company profile from their website quoted below) They have more than«bath bombs.» I really enjoy their«Olive branch» and«Flying Fox» shower gel and sometimes«Grass.» That one really smells like grass in a bottle so I don’t want to wear it every day. I really like some of their creams also. They have fragrance also. «Gorilla Perfume» lol. Hellva name. The«sticks» are the way to go for that route I think. Cheezy name but I like the«Lust» one. Hair: The«American Cream» conditioner is adored by my hair and I. With my mass of tangles and curls it really is a great conditioner. Expensive when you consider how much you have to put in with thick/curly hair but it is a great great product. Shampoo: I am trying«Curly Wurly» which is a pasty kind of jar of heathy goo that you mush about with a bit of water before you put in your hair. Because if you do not mush it about with a little water at first it will be almost impossible to get all the little pieces of fruit out of your hair. The first time I washed my hair with this it was a comedy for my husband.“Oh look another piece!” sigh. It’s great stuff but if you need to wash and go in any amount of time that is average for your curly hair. pick a different type of shampoo for that day. lol. This area of Macy’s carry a pretty big selection of their products. I do not feel slighted going here rather than their store. Here is something from their website about their products: «We believe in making effective products from fresh, organic* fruit and vegetables, the finest essential oils and safe synthetics. We invent our own products and fragrances. We make them fresh by hand using little or no preservative or packaging, using only vegetarian ingredients, and tell you when they were made. We believe in buying ingredients only from companies that do not commission tests on animals and in testing our products on humans. We believe in happy people making happy soap, putting our faces on our products and making our mums proud.» TLDR: More than just«bath bombs.» Try the Shower Gels(!!,) Skin Cream, Hair Conditioner. etc… Love it.
