Great service but the food suffered. I asked for a mocha but got a soy latte somehow, so I got that fixed. Food was just okay.

Nice little place on street level in the Park Pacific Tower. It’s a combination coffee shop/gallery, which I like. Limited menu, but a few sandwiches and baked goods. Gets loud pretty easily, though. Amazing the places you find on jury duty lunch break!

The menu lists flat whites for $ 2.65 and lattes for $ 4.00. I ordered a flat white for myself, an iced chai for my wife, and a blueberry muffin to share. After I paid, I realized I had been charged $ 4 for a latte. I told the«barista» that I wanted a flat white, and she said«they’re pretty much the same thing so I just did a latte.» No, they’re most certainly not the same thing. I told her a latte would be fine since that’s what I paid for. Then, the other barista comes over and explains to this one that no, flat whites are different. In the end, I got my flat white, even though I paid an extra $ 1.35 for a latte. No refund or apology was offered. I was also interested in checking out the art gallery, but they were between shows so none of the artwork was hung. Taste-wise, the flat white was decent, but I’ve had better. My wife did not enjoy her iced chai, and the blueberry muffin was good but not great. Overall, I can’t recommend a coffee roaster that doesn’t know the difference between a flat white and a latte.

This place used to be okay, never great, but it approached«pretty good». Sure, the owner will lie to customers about how old pastries are to get them sold, and the«pastries from Wisk» were grim the Schnucks up the road, but the coffee was good. I was there moderately recently, and I’m awfully sad to say that the coffee is bad. I’m really surprised, their roster is pretty good at what he does, but this tasted like it was done by a rank amateur. The coffee I had was a light roaat, but still tasted both stale and burnt. Sadly, can’t recommend this place anymore.

Great art, mediocre coffee. During my visit, they were exhibiting fabric-based art, and there were some terrific pieces on display. I had a veggie quiche for lunch(delicious) and a cortado(disappointing). I thought the roast didn’t have much taste; pretty muddy just like the name. Maybe that’s what I should have expected?

This café is connected to the art gallery which is owned by Art St. Louis, a great organization. The café has a very cheerful, bright, uplifting ambience. The woman working there was very friendly; she smiled a lot. I ordered Chai Latte, which was really delicious. She said that we could order something to drink and walk around in the art gallery. The art gallery is well done. The art which is selected to display there is very good; it’s not some boring, dull«safe» art that you would see at the Queeny Park Art Fair. The art is actually quite beautiful and colorful, but also thought-provoking with a dose of intelligence. It is obvious that all the pieces were intricately made with a lot of thought and efforts. The artists whose works were displayed there are professionally trained artists who studied various artistic fields at art schools or vocational schools. I read online that Art St. Louis have had professional curators from all around the USA and they carefully pick the best pieces to show at the gallery– so you can be sure that you won’t see hack art at the gallery. This is also a good place to take your date if you want to look at some art and have a good coffee conversation over!

Cute and cozy. It’s a quiet space with friendly staff with great recommendations. I tried the smoothies which was tasty and refreshing. Nothing super original, but I’ll be back to try the lattes and coffee.

Great service with a smile, received a warm welcoming upon entering and the barista was very helpful and charming. The shop is connected to an art gallery so the environment is especially nice. They have a good food selection which, while not necessary at a coffee place, is good for me because I am always a little hungry.

The décor itself won me over. There is beautiful art decking each and every wall of this little coffee shop. It shares a space with Art St. Louis which carries awesome creations from local artist. The barista was spunky and super helpful. I ordered a barrel-aged coffee added a tench of soy milk and was on my way. before I hit the door I noticed the delicious quiche, muffins and menu items I’m definitely coming back to try once I’m off my dreadful diet.

I stopped in for a quick iced coffee following a stop downtown for jury duty. The cashier was very friendly and accommodating which I really appreciated on a dreary Monday morning! He recommended the chocolate peanut butter cookies(which were the size of my hand, fingers spread out!) so I might have to swing back some other time to sample one of those bad boys. The iced coffee was a pretty standard cold brew, clean and smooth in flavor. While I didn’t stick around to hang out, I really liked that their wall space acts as an art gallery of sorts. I’d definitely stop by Mississippi Mud again!

A perfect café. Can’t imagine a better place to sit and work, chat, contemplate my ever-expanding belly. Extremely good latte. Surprisingly good quiche and salad. Free, fast wi-fi. Lovely art. Anyone who would rather go to Starbucks… well, what can you say? Why do you bother Unilocaling if your taste buds are owned by the man.

This 1-star review reflects my opinion of this place’s business practices, and not its products. Why? Because I had no opportunity to try their products. Here it is, Small Business Saturday – the day after Black Friday. This business signed up with American Express, and said that they wanted to participate in Small Business Saturday. So I checked their website(just to be sure), and drove all the way downtown from Olivette. I paid $ 1.50 for parking, too. I walk to the door, and it is LOCKED, with a sign affixed saying that they are on vacation and will return Dec. 1. What kind of business treats its prospective customers like this? Why not update their website to reflect their fun vacation plans? And why sign up with Amex’s Small Business Saturday if you have no intention of being actually open for business. With my money AND time wasted already, I’ll be permanently taking my coffee business to much more deserving small STL coffee purveyors. You guys suck at running a business, and deserve whatever loss in revenues you get this weekend.

Love the atmosphere but I don’t dig the SPACE. When we arrived the shop was buzzing and had only two tables available. This is not really saying a lot because there is only sitting room along the right side when you first come in the door and a few tables in the middle. The rest of the shop is crowded by the large display on the left and the necessary items to make it indeed a coffee shop. I ordered an Americano — No complaints. The selection of local pastries impressed me so I ordered a gooey butter-bar. The smell of the place provokes sentiment and the low-key vibe I get from being there certainly made me comfortable. I realized that i was really only feeling bad for the place because its so darn small and you feel like your in the way. It is what it is. Perhaps a strong game plan or heated out door seating would be a recommendation. If I’m in the area, Ill stop in for a cup to go next time.

Beautiful design and atmosphere. Friendly staff and quick iPad checkout system. Love the décor. Quality art gallery, though the sign on the door says the current exhibit deals with mature themes and might not be appropriate for kiddos. I’m not a coffee aficionado, so can’t speak to that. But my quiche for lunch had a nice flaky crust.

This was a pleasant place to get a cup of coffee in the morning. We were from out of town and had a hard time finding coffee at all. Inside is and art gallery that you can drink your coffee at in a relaxing environment. I would definitely come back if I am in town again.

This is an average cup of Jo. I wouldn’t bother coming here again. Equal to Starbucks quality level. I could have saved time just going to Starbucks. I have no idea why is has such good reviews but hey free wifi so that’s something.

The coffee here is really tasty — not too dark and never tasted burnt. I love their chai tea latte with a shot of espresso. They also serve great chocolate chip cookies. I bought one of their shirts and it’s the softest thing I own. The gallery is very cute too. I’ve spend several days reading here and it’s very peaceful.

This place has been open since August… how has no one else reviewed it?!? Anyway, I came here this morning since it’s a short drive from my office and looked like a cute little café. The décor is that of a typical coffee shop, rather simple and modern. Their menu is written on a chalkboard in unique fonts, very reminiscent of the Mud House. The barista took my order quickly and made me a delicious caramel latte. While he got to work on my drink, I ran to use the restroom(which is located in the back of the art gallery). I asked the lady sitting at the desk in the front of the art gallery where the bathroom was and she was rather snoody, but since I came here for coffee I won’t dock this place any stars. But the lady could have been nicer, it’s Good Friday c’mon! The other cool thing about this place is that they work with other local organization. This morning Trailnet was hosting«breakfast for bikers» and this was one of the stops. It’s always good to see small businesses supporting other small businesses! Next time I stop by here for a morning latte, I may pick up something to snack on too. Their pastries were a little overpriced in my opinion but they all looked good. The one thing that caught my eye was a cookie with whole pecans baked on top, it looked yummy!

Great coffee and great atmosphere right next to SLU’s new law school. They are a full-service coffee shop serving mostly espresso-based drinks and baked treats. Overall, they are very good — although the service is a bit slow at times. They have an attached art gallery, so you can get some culture while you wait for your coffee to be made :-)
