How this place has such good reviews on food is beyond me. Everything on the menu is terrible and taste like it was put in the microwave directly from a freezer meal. Don’t get the buffalo chicken. It has the worst consistency ever its like a soft lightly pressed chicken Patty. Pizza looks like its a jacks pizza they grabbed out of the freezer and the burger was very basic. Nachos were dumped on with way too much cheddar cheese and couldn’t finish them. I get that it’s a bar but it was so gross I was starving so I ate my meal anyways. Friends just left their meals there. On positive note beer was good and average prices.

I went in there tonight with a buddy of mine. Frank, the bartender, was nice and friendly. However, the entire reason we went there was for the $ 2 call liquor special. When we got our tab, we were charged $ 4.50 per drink, over double what we expected to pay. Frank informed us that the liquor we had was not included in the special since it was not the«cheap stuff». We wanted to give this place a chance, but probably won’t be back because of this… If they simply informed us that it would be more, we would have no issue with it. Beware when going there!

Bottom Line: Strip Mall Sports and Karaōke Bar Atmosphere with Unique Events, Friendly Bartenders and Managers, Unique Mixed Drink Options, and A Kitchen That Never Closes(Still Working On This) Overview: This strip mall bar, on a typical day, appears to be something that will appeal to the sports fan and those that like to sing karaōke. For those searching for something unique, they offer that too. As I recall, they had a Rock’em Sock’em Robots event for the canceled Guns n’ Hoses(Police/Firefighters) event in 2014. They also host a live Internet radio show, on occasion, covering various topics, as well as interviewing various local music acts and/or celebrities. After speaking with one of the folks in charge of Murphy’s on 21, I was told they are hoping to plan an event that will appeal to the old school video gamer. My ears perked up upon hearing this news. We shall see what is in store. On the food menu are some typical and a few not so typical options. The same goes for the drink menu, both beer wise and mixed drink wise. Unfortunately for us, on this visit, the kitchen was closed. Apparently, from what I gathered later in the evening, the kitchen is supposed to never close. However, it seems that we came in on an evening when it did. Experience: On this visit, about half of the bar was in full-on karaōke mode. The other half was hanging out at the bar. Mostly younger folks were doing karaōke and the older crowd was around for a drink and conversation at the bar. The bar is well-kept and well-lit, as were the bathrooms. There is outside seating, however, since it was quite cold on this evening, the outside patio was in use by smokers only. Parking: Parking is a plenty in the evening on the weekend as most of the adjacent businesses have closed up for the night. Summary: If you are just looking for a place to let loose in South County, this is a place worth considering. The friendly environment, as well as well-lit inside and out, make this a nice option for those looking for only the event they came for, not for the not so nice surprise you might run into when going out for a late evening.

Open at 2PM now! New décor includes a music wall with Wasp tour costume and lots of Autographed pics. The Murphy’s wall still includes my favorite Boondock Saints poster. Look … T shirts for $ 10. Thanks for the remodel, Frank.

The first bar in St. Louis I have felt perfectly at home in. $ 12 buckets with great bottle variety, super clean, no smoking, good food, reasonable prices. Sports Fans: NFL Sunday TIcket, the Hockey Package, tons of flatscreens, and a huge projector. Karaōke fans: Friday and Saturday after 9:00pm. Even if you don’t sing it will be entertaining, trust me. Bartenders: Friendly as can be. They are a newish bar so they really go out of their way to make you feel like family. A great place to nurse a few beers and just chat. No pretentiousness, down to Earth, and let me repeat – SUPER clean. Space: I have been here when it is crowded and it is still extremely enjoyable. Lots of seats, and a private events room in the rear that they don’t charge to use. Party: The night before Thanksgiving they mixed up a bunch of shooters and passed them out around the whole bar. The bartenders love to show you their specialty drinks too. Location: Okay, sort of hard to see from the road as it is nestled way back into a strip mall, but look for the big green Murphy’s sign. Go here for a game or bring friends for a party. Eat, drink, be merry!

I really like this place. It’s a low key place where you can go to drink with friends and watch a game. Try the blue cheese chips! Yum!

I am not sure I have ever given a 1-star rating. This place just rubbed me the wrong way all together. 1 — «Scareoke» This is a personal thing so I prob should not include it. I am not, I repeat, NOT a Kareoke fan… ok moving on 2– Weird! When ordering a drink and dinner(late night dinner) she took our orders, then the money, then she waited like 5 min to even remember to make our drinks. I thought paying for it before you get the actual drinks was weird. 3– I asked for a napkin. she gave me 3. I only used one, and put the other two aside for dinner. About 10 min go by, she reaches over to my napkins, takes them and puts them BACK in the Stack to redistribute. Call me a princess but YUCK! EW! We ended up getting them back and we realized they were already stuck together with a «goo-thing» UGH. 4-The cook, he likes to come out and drink beers between making food orders. He must have not seen our ticket order bec he was chugging away while we sat there and I gave him the stink eye and he looked in his window and saw our ticket sitting there.(closes eyes)…I hope he washed his hands, I hope he washed his hands… We have a friend that works there, and he said we must have hit a bad night. But still I am not sure I would go back but to say a quick hi to my friend. Sorry to be such a downer in this review!

I had a 12 inch wiener today!!! Seriously the 6.00 hotdog is so big you can saddle it up and ride it. I told them it is the long dong silver of hotdogs… It isn’t that this bar does anything for me aesthetically. It is just your typical plain no frills bar that seems new so there is no character. It earned the four stars due to the food prices-&-quality and friendly and efficient staff. The bartender Gretchen is absolutely fabulous so full of energy and funny. We enjoyed homemade potato chips with bleu cheese and some spice-pretzels and cheese, hotdog, cup of brocollli cheese soup, four beers, AND a Jameson Ginger all for right under 30.00. We enjoyed watching the bartender play a knuckle biting game of jenga with another customer and learned that this place has karaōke some evenings and they do have a very large screen almost a full wall to watch sports on if your so inclined. The bathrooms are clean – they offer mens, womans, and an extra for people that perhaps are a little of both. They do not offer any tap beer — bottles only — and they only carry Pepsi products so no cap-n-cokes…they do have 1.00 jello shots… dartboard and a jukebox… also a hidden VIP area that is behind some swinging doors… if you like to party in private to keep the paparazzi off your back…

Sandwiches, 16″ pizzas, wings, burgers, beer buckets of six, draft beers. Happy Hour and weekday drink specials. Karaōke Fri/Sat. Huge HD screen and multiple tvs for sports. Darts, gold game, keno, and scratchers. A few outdoor seats. Cheap, fun, and friendly staff.
